Has anyone heard anything about the older and tenured employees being offered severance if their age + tenure is over 60? I would gladly volunteer to go so that someone younger could keep their position.

@b1 not all departments were impacted in 2024. T2 LNP in pact at that time. Volunteered, along with many others, and we were told as our area of the business was not impacted, no volunteers were accepted. 20+ years. I’m fine to stay, but would welcome a package instead.

Yup at 13yrs and now I want of this cr-p since DAN took over , there is always some CUT, RIF or benefit or work tools going after Pennie’s while they fly jets around world doing AI poetry
30 years service, almost 50. Laid off last year. No retirement offered. Did get a severance.
I'm 26 years of svc and age 49 ... I do not want to go 🙄 But they'll take me out before a volunteer. They used to offer buyouts but have not done that in years.

I’m 62. Volunteered every RIF since 2022, I’ve pled the case to allow someone younger to keep their job. It hasn’t worked yet.
