I'm not nearly as negative as some people, but sadly, the facts are clear. Layoffs are just delaying the crash. What happens when they've cut everyone they can?

If you mean make the stock price attractive to an acquirer, it's working. The stock price is headed to free

@OP FIS is not going to “crash,” they are trying to make the company as attractive as possible to be acquired piece by piece. It’s the whole reason everything over the last 18 months has happened. They don’t need to stand up all of the divisions, they only need to have them continue to function until it is acquired, then it’s the acquiring company’s problem. They are trying to have as few onshore knowledgeable resources as possible to cut overhead and drag the division to the finish line.
The company will be sold, possibly piecemeal. Some employees will survive the acquisitions, some will not. This is a very cynical game that SF & co are playing.
