Thread regarding Centene Corp. layoffs

VSP

I got 12/11 date as well…kinda bummed but I know Dec will be here before you know it. Just hoping that payout will be before Christmas…blessings to everyone on the next journey.

The 45 day waiting period is only if you wait to sign the agreement and the release. If you sign the day you receive it is only the 7 day waiting period per communication. Why would the applicant have to wait the full 45 days?

Laid off in Feb. payout took about 5 weeks to come in.

Count yourself lucky it’s not 12/11 in 2027 like others.

Which is better for tax reasons. Let it roll into next year. At least you will have time to save and prep for the holidays.

@a1 I would probably estimate not receiving payout for about 45 days

If last day is 12/11, prepare for payout to not be prior to Christmas. Your payout will likely be January 2027.
