Wasn't eligible for VSP but reading about how late of a "separation date" some people are getting is crazy. If you are unhappy with your date can you back out? I can see where some people found this misleading (they thought they would be leaving in September).

@a1 they want you to leave on your own accord so they don't have to pay out the VSP. Do yourself a favor and start looking for a new job now and leave when you can. They DO NOT care about you.
@OP and they will be here some another entire year without the severance package increasing I’m sure. I didn’t get an offer either but wish I had! I’d been done ✔️. This place has been nothing but a joke.
Them: ohhhh by golly we need people to leave because we are falling apart. You can either leave now for later, but we need you gone. Take these extra dollars while you can.
Them also: oh yes, all the sudden we need you until 4757588 PC (post christ) due to business needs, but also considering canning some of your co-works next month. Take it or leave it.

@OP I just reread my acceptance letter and it says November 2027! Are they kidding?? If they want us gone why would they have us stay for so long and how the he-l would I possibly work in that toxic environment for another 16 months! I guess that’s one way to make sure I don’t get any money huh?
