10 people laid of from product and tech (almost 30 percent of product laid off) in USA on Oct 25th. Reason provided: Shifting development work to mumbai. No proper communication, badly handled. Several other departments having small layoffs.
Announcement of 180 staff to be laid off at Sustainalytics
Profitability at Sustainalytics has seriously declined and layoffs have been announced in efforts to reduce costs.
Location strategy driving some layoffs
Morningstar is letting people go due to “location strategy” and “performance issues”. Both are efforts to improve flagging margins.
