About 700 employees were let go from Lifetouch on Thursday January 21. Another 90 or so were let go from sister company Shutterfly.

I like working here. I really hope there is no layoffs at Lifetouch for now, I am really trying to learn as much as I can. I like my manager and we had good training.

2 people have now told me that layoffs are coming in 2018. One is looking for another job already cuz he's got no kids and can move. What have you heard?????????

The entire Corporate Communications department, including the video production group, was terminated in April. Also some people in the field.

people are overworked, we need more workers, we cannot lay people off when we do not have enough people to finish work that we have. people work weekends and lifetouch does not recognize that

Lifetouch has MANY, MANY issues internally - I would not be surprised to hear that they laid off significant number of folks - I might be wrong as I am simply basing this on a gut feel.
