Does McKinsey have any other ideas other than laying off employees when they advise other companies what to change? I think the John Oilver show is unfortunately right about you guys. Have a heart and do something different.

How has nobody brought up, how "our firm" instead of admitting they are overstaffed with CSPs and doing layoffs. Instead are blaming the CSPs can giving them poor reviews and putting them on Concerns. Which then taints them from finding other... — read more 

I am guessing most McK employees don't know about this site, or signed some sort of NDA. I would expect to see more rantings on here, about what all has started going down today.

Good luck to everyone, although I think that everyone will find a new job faster than this place will manage to fix its reputation after the headcount reduction (since it's obviously their favorite way to do cost cutting).

The news about the upcoming big layoffs did not surprise me at all.

I've heard we might be looking at some layoffs at McKinsey at the start of the year (January or February) so I'm trying to figure out if that's true.

I’m not ant¡v@x. I’m pro freedom. I also strongly believe that (personal) medical privacy is paramount… Perhaps if the v@x prevented contraction or spreading, I’d think differently.

McKinsey does not let people go - well managed and efficient and sees itself as a people-centric company. When you think about it, for McKinsey, it's people are the biggest asset.
