Roughly 160 people laid off last week from the corporate office and Carrol’s staff. Training/Digital staff took the majority of the hit. The rest of the staff left is on edge and looking for other employment.

It serves them right, after so many closings and firings, the Burger King now has problems with hiring people back. They may think that high unemployment benefits are keeping people away from reapplying to work at one of the re-opened restaurants... — read more 

There are no layoffs, we are expanding BK in 2020. We'll see what happens after but that's it for now.

There was a class action suit brought on by a group of former workers in 2015, and it was settled sometime late this year (2016). Anyone know the details of the settlement? Torres v Burger King.
