No severance

Are people really being laid off without severance? This is the first time I've heard about this and now my anxiety and stress level are about twice as bad as they were. It's one thing to be laid off with severance. It's bad, but at least you have... — read more

Just laid off

Literally sobbing. After being told I was so valued by TR, I receive notice that I am being terminated. My position will be back filled via Change Pgm outsourcing. There will be no severance for my team. Worked my a-s off for this company over... — read more

‘Business Update’

I just got an unexpected teams meeting invite labeled ‘Business Update’ with just my manager and my manager’s manager. I’m getting laid off right? That’s what this is?

Laid off

Tis the season, and I've been tapped. I've been wary for years and am finally at peace. For someone who said to just resign: Unless you have a new job offer lined up for a steady revenue source, you would be losing out on the severance package... — read more

Larger Severance?

For those who have been let go before has anybody gotten a larger severance then the standard 2 weeks from TR?

It is sad what this company has become

It has never been more miserable working at TR. I’ve been here for a few years now, but this one was definitely the worst for me. I get depressed when I remember how it used to be and how it is now. From what is happening here now, I don't have much... — read more

What is going on with Tax & Accounting?

I retired just under two years ago and was in Ann Arbor with Tax & Accounting? I came through with Thomson's purchase of Creative Solutions back in the late 90's and stayed until 2020. Friends have kept me posted as far as the layoffs to... — read more

So many complaints, so little action

You're not happy at TR, I get that. You basically have two choices. You can stay here and continue to be miserable every single day of your life or you can leave now that the job market is for the first time completely favoring workers and find a... — read more

Donde esta DW LinkedIn post?

While celebrating mental health day I noticed that the post about Mexico was removed. I thought DW would be spending time preparing for the Product Blitz Days instead of playing censor.

Layoff vs. Fired due to the mandate

Is there a way to volunteer to be included in the annual layoff group instead of waiting to get fired due to the vaccine mandate? All those years spent dodging the bullet maybe wasn't a blessing after all.

Finding a new job

For those who were Rif’d in the past how long did it take you to find other employment? Were you able to remain within the industry or did you need to step outside to be gainfully employed? More importantly, did you find a position where you were... — read more

Feeling of high school all over again?

That and these courses which I will never use is a huge waste of time and stressful. Honestly I am hoping I am in the next round of layoffs. I feel like I am back in school again with homework and project deadlines. The fork is stuck in me _ _ _ .. — read more

Vaccine Mandate communication

Coming out tomorrow - so expect more attrition in the US with no backfills. Required vax by late November/efficacy December - per Federal policy. Maybe that will alleviate some of the layoffs coming soon.

Customer Town Hall this week

Am I the only one who thought that BP should have put on a coat and tie for a Customer Town Hall? If we have an attorney in a coat and tie giving us "feedback," shouldn't one of our top executives try to not look so sloppy?

Feedback for TR Management

This post is for TR management. It is meant as genuine feedback and is not a wind up or a joke. I’ve been a regular user of TR products for many years. Over the last three or so I’ve noticed a decline in quality/standards in many of the products I... — read more

Replaced after almost 5 months

I didn't think they would replace a colleague who left very quickly, but I didn't think it would last very long either. After three months, I thought he would never be replaced. Well in the end it was replaced but only after almost five... — read more

Only those who go with the flow are satisfied here

If you are still left at TR, it means that you will do what you have to do to stay, but that by no means say that you are valued. As I look around at who is left, its typically the meek ones, ones that go with the flow, no dissenting opinions, happy... — read more

There aren't too many options out there

A former coworker who was laid off months ago is still looking for work. He did have a few good possibilities but it never went through the whole way. This has me worried. I wasn't too worried about being laid off because I thought finding a new job... — read more

Begging for Employees

Well I kept hearing that there was no issue with employees attrition. However it certainly appears that is not the case. Multiple emails begging for help and offering money. Why did people leave in the first place. Was a good chunk of them because... — read more

You know whats cool?

Being told you're valued and then being replaced by overseas hires you're forced to retrain and welcome with smiling faces! Nothing productive here, just toxic realism.

Maybe it’s just a phase?

Yesterday was probably my hardest day at work after more than five years here. Once again I wondered "what am I even doing here?" I'm bored. I feel terribly bored at work the last few weeks. For a long time I was dissatisfied with the... — read more
