Gainshare

How does gainshare really works? Can someone provide sample?

Prepare to have your life wholly consumed by this company. Their internal processes are so over-engineered and employees micromanaged, that I can’t for the life of me understand why people love it here (unless you are in HR). I get it that the... — read more

Performance bonus

I just got a significant performance bonus, out of the blue, I didn’t know these existed. Is this normal? Does it happen often? I should also mention I got a very good quarterly review.

Pto accrual

The pto accrual here is... a downfall to this company. 6 hours every 2 weeks unless you have substantial tenure. I love the company culture, I do like my job, colleagues and boss, but this a downside. I have never worked for a company that does not... — read more

We are understaffed

I don't know why some people mention layoffs, maybe they know something that I don't. My impression is that we are largely understaffed, but I am not sure that the company is doing anything about it. Related to that is the problem that employees... — read more

What are your arguments?

… when you say so very confidently that there will be no layoffs? I hope there won't be any, but I can't be so sure.

Thank you Progressive

Thank you for hearing your employees and realizing that raises needed to happen. I am so grateful to work for a company that not only recognizes work/life balance, but also compensation. Thank you.

I make the same as a Wendy’s employee

I saw a sign that a Wendy’s was starting at $20… meanwhile, I, a licensed inbound sales representative that had to pass a state test am also making the same.. Tell me how that is right? I’m

Gainshare factor gone up!

I was worried about the low gain share for January, but it seems to have picked up. This in addition to the call volume we are experiencing is all good news!

Better than Allstate?

Thinking of jumping ship from Allstate injury claims where I’m micromanaged, overworked & stressed out. Should I apply to Progressive? Is it better?

Earnings surpass estimates

Earnings are out and I think we can all breathe easier. Am I too optimistic to think there'll be no layoffs any time soon due to good results?

This place will soon be full of ex Allstaters

I am glad to be working again with some of my former colleagues from Allstate. It seems to me now that most new employees come from there. It would be interesting to see some analysis of the employee structure - how many former Allstate employees are... — read more

I am not sure I agree with being penalized on my health insurance as a remote worker if I am not vaccinated… Thoughts?

Zero help

Customer here. Been waiting over 2 weeks without progress on my claim. Your auto department is atrocious!

What would make Progressive a better company?

I have worked in much worse companies but I am not very happy with the situation here either. It can always get better. At the moment, I don’t like how the work is distributed here. Some work too much and some are spared and work the bare minimum... — read more

Very Happy Here

Just started from a competitor who had massive pandemic layoffs and was soon after scrambling for people. Much better leadership and I have met some great teammates. Overall very happy I made the switch.
