Yahoo laid off a a fairly large group of us this week, most of cut backs took place in our news and entertainment division here in Canada.

Does anyone know if we are planning to let go of some elements of internal IT and outsource the functions? I heard rumors in 2013 and it seems that we'll have an issue again.

So far so good, minimal layoffs, but i think Marissa has exhausted all options and will have to do a major HEADCOUNT REDUCTION. Let's see how things transpire over next few months but I think she'll cut deep and Yahoo! folks will feel the pain soon.
