My previous work was in an area where everything was onshore in the USA. Now, I am in an area where everything is overseas. Wow. What a difference. Project management and most VP slots are WW. They throw everything over the wall to offshore. ... — read more

How does one respond? My manager had no clue what I did with the other team I was loaned out to. Pretty much entire leadership team in my group were gone due to org restructuring. I personally felt I exceeded all the expectations however I got SP... — read more

Manager survey

My boss is a credit taking, politics playing and trade ignorant dead weight, yet I picked highest ratings on all of the questions. Why? She has only two reports and the other one is a brownnoser. If Fidelity want true opinions, do more about the... — read more

Boomer Karens and Chad

They hold so many critical level 5 and even level 6/7 positions in some cases. But they don't know basic difference between an apple vs windows machine. Yet their only real "talent" seems to be belittling their own teammates, picking on them (due... — read more

Level 8/9 who made lots of money already know this. Your manager knows it too, that's why they're not micro managing you coz soon you'll not be their problem. Your quarterly check in feels like nothing but a BS session where instead of judging for... — read more

What do VRBO packages typically look like

I see quite a few posts about people discussing voluntary retirement buyout packages, I realize senior management's package would look a lot different than say a level 4. Just curious of those that have experienced or have seen the package what it... — read more

So many architects

Why are these roles necessary? Do they add any real value to the organization? Architects feel like relics from the outdated waterfall era

Look to the Future

My Fidelity buyout package vs being let go due to moving my job out of state was a great escape. That was over 20 years ago. Based on these comments Fidelity culture has not improved.

Jokes on us

What if there’s no layoff and Fidelity can keep up the panic for another 20 years.
