It has started, with the flood of expats being sent back to Australia, and today all the Australian employees were told that voluntary redundancies are being offered throughout September.

If XOM decides to stop the pension - in addition to stopping 401k company matching, is there any reason to stay? Or should you might as well look for another job?

I’m close to retirement and am wondering if anyone has heard anything about an early retirement package. This would reduce a lot oh the higher salary workers, for sure.
