Does it even matter if a person has been exceeds/consistently exceeds for years when it comes to layoffs, or is it just luck of the draw? Do the geniuses making these decisions care if they lay off underperformers versus higher performers?
BCP Exercise - all primaries in India
Almost all application primaries seem to be in India. They have a US hr shift in India these days. Quality of work is atrocious. Can never understand what they are saying. Its low end talent for cost savings! Despicable.

Any truth to severance package changing?
I've been hearing rumors the severance package will be changing and not for the good. That will be significantly reduced. Anyone else hearing this? Anyone know when they could change it (as in annual, whenever they want, etc.)? Does board have to... — read more
Bring back the 80's
I was drinking a beer listening to the 80's tonight. What happened to this country. What happened to this company. I used to go to work with a suit and tie, work my a-s off, now people don't even talk. I walk around town and it looks like me-h... — read more
Midyear good news & bad news
Midyear good news: You got meets and mgr refuses to give anyone inconsistently meets (so no one on team gets exceeds, but at this point who cares... survival mode). Midyear bad news: Team is being dissolved and everyone needs to find new jobs. WF... — read more
How is our BOD rationalizing paying $24.5 Million/year for a CEO who is “doing what every other company is doing”?
We could hire a B-Movie actor or some smart-as-a-whip college intern who could follow the same uninspired cookie-cutter strategy for 95% less. I don’t think anyone sees Charlie as a Disrupter, an Innovator, a Team-Builder, or even a... — read more
Midyear reviews are really midyear competition

People with “REMOTE” in their location on teamworks

Checking Teams status?
WTF is going on with people checking Team's status? Are they chasing the green "active" dot? I have teams on my laptop and phone and am always available. Why does the stupid green dot matter to anyone?

Strike/Walk Out?
I’m wondering if anyone currently working for Wells Fargo has considered doing a strike/walk out for better pay/improving working conditions? It’s probably naive to think it would actually get them to care about their employees, but I am wondering if... — read more

Wrong people are being promoted
There are a lot of factors that facilitate WFC’s current less-than-stellar standing and results, but I believe that one of the main ones is the fact that people are being promoted for all the wrong reasons. I believe nothing will improve until WFC... — read more
2014 SGO pin found. Remember? Strategy, governance, Operating Model
A 9-year-old pin fell out of my computer bag. I don't really remember this campaign. I was in tech.. never followed or got to know the "big picture". I guess management kept all this to themselves. Wonder if anyone on this board remembers this.
Life After WF

Proposed new Basel regs will curtail portfolio lending
At the big banks, massively. This will hit non-agency mortgage lending hard. Those famous great Wells Fargo jumbo rates could be a thing of the past. Big banks won’t wanna touch portfolio mortgage at all.

Ethics Llne is "phone a foe"
The fastest way to get terminated is to call the Ethics Line. Ethics don't exist at WF. Proven on a daily basis. Buy a muzzle or duct tape instead. Much better investment.
Let's play the Career Mobility drinking game!
Every time you hear or read about "career mobility" here from management at Wells Fargo and have had yours taken away, down a shot of your beverage of choice! I'm already hammered this morning.
I often wonder why Managers don’t use their power, influence and contacts to take a strong stand against Charlie & Co.
Charlie states he is “transforming our institution while supporting our customers, employees, and the communities we serve”, but you know nothing could be further from the truth. Managers are privy to the e-mails, meetings and plans which prove the... — read more
