Sr Lead vs Mgr

Is Lead to Manager considered a lateral? Meaning no pay increase. The corp titles are the same and the compensation code. What is the incentive for someone who is a Lead to do that vs stay on the IC track and go for Sr Lead?

Something will have to give soon

Corporations serving only the top and shareholders is not a sustainable arrangement within the framework of any society. Maybe in a lab. They exist in communities, draw resources from said communities, and enjoy low taxation, legal protection of the... — read more

Laughable: Wells Fargo talks out of both sides of their mouth when it comes to the Union. They assume you are stupid. They need you to be stupi

One side of mouth: Scharf boasts about cutting 60,000 jobs while also building out India and the Philippines. So how many US jobs have been cut? I would estimate at least 80,000 jobs Other side of (lying) mouth: “We continue to believe our... — read more

Bonus Talk Time!

It’s time for these to start circulating! I moved to a LBEC in January $115K base What should I expect? With targets gone there were zero estimates from recruiting.

A Freudian slip on today’s earnings call?

Charlie, “ I want to thank everyone who I worked with at Wells Fargo for everything they've done to transform this great company.” Past tense? Could just be wishful thinking on my part. 🤞🏻

60d Non working

Explain that for me. What does that mean and can I get another job during that time?

220k employees ?!

With all the layoffs going on, how does Wells Fargo STILL have 220k employees ? Are they just laying certain people off while hiring others ?

WF S*cks

I absolutely hate this place. There was definitely a time when WF cared more about their employees. But this place a toxic s*hit hole with almost no regard for its employees except how to torture us so we quit so they don’t have to pay out severance... — read more

At least TD Bank is accountable and admits guilt in their criminal activities. Wells never admits any wrong-doing.

“TD Bank pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit money laundering, the largest bank in U.S. history to do so.” ————————- Charlie won’t admit guilt even if it’s caught on camera and there is a trail of irrefutable evidence. “In a statement, Wells... — read more

Compliance

Compliance is the biggest sh%?sh0w at the bank. This is what happens when you put a bunch of attorneys in role they are not qualified for.

2024 Accomplishments

Submitted my 2024 Accomplishments yesterday: 3 DAYS A WEEK IN OFFICE. Nailed it. Achieved the #1 most important goal of senior execs.

Wells Fargo's stock is up 17% over the past year compared to a massive 46% increase of the Dow Jones U.S. Banks index. Fortune 10/08/24

The ONLY people who think Charlie is doing a good job is our BOD. The last Wells Fargo Board of Directors meeting: Steven, “Not sure how it’s possible, but we haven’t been shut down yet.” (laughter and applause) Charlie, “I think that calls... — read more

Corporate Title Changes

I noticed corporate titles have been removed from people. First Vice President has been removed while others who were VP have been dropped down the AVP. What’s going on?

Layoff questions

I can't ask locally. Little to no real answers provided. Say you work in a site that is closing. You come into work and see big & expensive piles of ports to attach to your current work equipment. This doesn't add up. OK, the site is closing and... — read more

Is your team mgmt utilizing people’s skills well?

Situation with my team is really horrible. They took on some clueless new people that do not contribute in any significant way. The rest of us have been here for a while, we all know our strengths, weaknesses and skills, and yet what mgmt does is to... — read more

Chances of layoffs prior to bonus

Hi. I’m being set up to fail after layoffs/team re-org back in March. I’m now working with 2 managers who will likely give me a terrible review and if even the 2 other managers I work with give me stellar reviews, I know how big companies work and... — read more

Rto for contractors

Why are contractors exempted from rto ? So that they can do side hustles during office time ? This is not fair to ask to employees to rto where as contractors can work remotely.

WF Alumni Network ad on linkedin

Can you believe they kicked off this “initiative”? It’s suppose to be former employees to network with each other and perhaps find a role with WF again. Lol. They even have a picture of chainsaw Charlie in the online ad. The job board is the same ole... — read more

NO clue

Most of you have no clue how to run a business. All you do is whine and bi--h about your job. If your so head strong why don’t you out your feet in gear instead of your big mouth and go find another fu--ing job that pay as much as we pay you

Industry where jobs won’t get offshored

I have data analytics background and have 18 years of experience working in the industry with 15 years at WF. This place has become so toxic, i am thinking of transitioning to healthcare IT area. Because of the HIPAA regulations, i wonder jobs are... — read more

Insurance after layoff

I don't see anything in the displacement documents that state what happens with your health insurance once the 60 day non-working period is over. I know you can pay - but is that both our employee cost + WF cost? If this has been asked before, I... — read more

Don’t expect quality or qualified

WF no longer posts positions to find qualified, diverse talent. Now, they bring their friends in and put them in roles beyond what they are qualified for. Employees now reporting to these new managers are being asked to train them. And these friends... — read more
