How long will this go on for?

Does anyone know if they’re doing it based on seniority, highest pay, department, etc? Anyone know if some departments/entities are gonna be hit more than others?

There are so many people taking the severance pay or finding other jobs and leaving. We are already stretched thin and losing more people before the layoffs have even started.

If we survive the layoffs end of October has anyone heard any intel as to where they will put us all in existing LA or NY offices?

If you opted in to the severance package - Have you been given an official last day? there’s been radio silence.

Lots of full time employees that are Leads don't know how to code, only thing they know is to take credit from the work the contractors do.

Do we think there will be another layoff round in March to line up with the RTO phase 2s? I’ve heard could be two rounds and lots and lot of restructuring. Anyone heard the same?

My department is hiring. I believe they already found the candidate. Hopefully that’s a good sign for my department

I keep seeing that Ellison has pledged to keep and invest in brands like BET.

Managers are aware of who will be impacted in Oct/Nov. HR has the lists already. Does anyone know if the names are set in stone?

Honestly we will never get to the 2 billion number by laying off a bunch of low level employees barely making 6 figures. I see a few big names leaving but hardly enough. We all know we are top heavy. Discouraging not many more have been announced.

During a couple of these department specific office hours talks, apparently some of the department heads are pushing back a bit on the 5 day RTO (among other things). Anyone think this is going to lead to anything?

Wondering if anyone has any insight into the process of international layoffs? Would each HR dept be given a budget/number of people to let go? Or would decisions already be made from up top in the US on departments to lay off etc?

In preparation for layoffs is anyone searching elsewhere? How are you finding it? If not, why aren't you looking?
