Total Compensation

Cenovus claims to be a P50 for total compensation. If that’s true, then who in town pays more?? Is there anyone in HR who can provide insight.?

I am very anxious because I have seen this company lay off great people. That doesn't make any sense. If hard work is not the way to keep a job, what do I do to avoid being on the layoff list?

Was surprised to learn CVE comp's people from outside of Alberta for travel, SK/BC $800 and outside of that $1200. Hard to understand why CVE would do that when Alberta has plenty of unemployed and qualified people that would love a job with CVE?

Safety

There was a major safety incident. So guess that means no bonuses unless 'major' is defined as more than life altering for greater than one person. If so I guess that means this is an acceptable level of safety incidents.
