Applying internally

Has anyone else noticed the open job postings only list 1 or 2 cities? What happened to growing in other markets per the location strategy emails? Basically if you’re not in Charlotte or Des Moines you can give up your search now.

EEOC complaints

What usually happens after you file one? Does anyone have experience doing this?

1/24 Layoff

Looks like 400 people got downsized. Their notification period is now over, and severance has begun. Best of luck to all that were impacted!

Proxy Shareholder vote by April

The only way to send a message to the board imo is to vote against all of the 12.board members. It might not make much difference since the employees don’t hold more then 1 percent of the total voting stuck, but at least it will send a message. — read more

DMI?

I think I'm on the hub location list for my current line of business. Just a matter of time. A contact has told me that there may be an upcoming opening in Data Mgmt and Insights that could work. Not sure if it would be mid to high staff or mid level... — read more

Are you exiting the banking industry going back to school or retiring etc.? I’m hoping the job market is a bit better in 2025 but have started looking.

Where is the plan Chuckie?

You allocated $1B to severe employees based on a location strategy that has been in the works for months if not years. How hard is it to spell out to the lowly worker bees by LOB exactly what you have in mind? While you may save a bit in severance... — read more

I was told I'd be given 60 days to find another job and if I failed to do so at the end of the 60 days and then severance would kick in. I'm in the 2nd week of my 60 days, if I found a job next week, does that mean I wouldn't end up getting a... — read more

Going to work everyday at Wells now feels like being on the Titanic life boats, while everyone else around is on the water drowning. You might be safe now, but might not survive. 😫

Who else plans to use their relocation year to quiet quit and search for a new job?

Hint hint hint

One of the most annoying things about working at WF is the constant effort to figure things out by observation. Put clues together, notice patterns and try to stay on top of things. In the past there would at least be anchors, something you could... — read more

Later Wells…poke the bear enough and ultimately this high achiever looked elsewhere and found a ki-ler gig for more money and less BS
