I've lost my voice from p!$$!ng and moaning about losing my job. My fingers are raw and cramped from posting here and on other forums. My extended family won't have anything to do with me. My wife is threatening to leave me! I haven't been able to find another job. What do I do????

Searching for an exit
I'm actively looking for a new role and sending out applications weekly. This place is notably worse than any other bank I've worked for. The overall environment is just not functional.
mental health - need help
I dont know what is wrong with me. I feel like I will go crazy because of anxiety. I dont have family and I can only rely on myself. I am so worried I wont be able to find another job. And staying home all day is driving me crazy. I dont know what to do. I apply everyday but no interview so far.
Available job list for your stuck DXC Colleagues?
Hi, I've been reading about all the disappointments here re long-awaited pay raises for a while. It's clear that management is just taking us for a ride and there will never be any meaningful raise anytime soon.
How about instead of us all whining about the inevitable, we post available jobs based on what we hear from friends & family to help out those who are stuck in DXC? You could be in IT but hear about an accounting job available or delivery for example, just donate some info here. There is linkedin, Indeed, etc but sometimes inside info is more timely.
What do you say?
Job search
I just had an interview!! The job itself is remote and out of the hundreds of applicants, they chose my resume because they saw Wells Fargo on it. So just FYI, Wells Fargo still carries some power in the hiring world. 💅✅
Stop Waiting
Stop waiting and do something about it. Update the resume, start looking and leave. There is life after Cigna / Evernorth or whatever it's called. It's one of the best things I've done! The stress you're putting yourself through is just not worth it. Good luck! You're welcome!
laid off July 2025, Last pay date August 31. What day in Feb is last RSU payout?
End of February would be final date I qualify. Still looking for next job.
Have you found a job after layoff
How are people doing? Have you been able to find a job? How long did it take you to find a job after being laid-off and in what field did you find a job (sale, marketing, engineering, management, retail, etc.)?
Fu-k It, I am Quitting This Week
Terrible work environment and have another job lined up. Can anyone offer any advice on how to handle the exit process? What do they do, what can I expect?
Technicians who were let go or left
Where did you end up going? How were you able to transfer your skillsets to a new career?
If you haven’t figured it out yet……
TMO does not give a sh-t about anyone. The we are a people first company mantra they constantly push is complete BS. TMO is a profit and growth first company, we the people are nothing more than a means to that end.
If you have not been impacted by any of the layoffs, don’t get comfortable and think that you’re safe. It’s only a matter of time before we are all walking out the door.
Update your résumé, and start applying for jobs now. The average job search is 6 to 9 months in this economy. Starting your job search now gets you ahead of that curve and if you get an interview, it helps you shake off the cobwebs and fine tune in your interview skills if it’s been a while. If by chance you get a job offer, you can always say no thanks.
Stop drinking The magenta Kool-Aid, you’re only going to get run over by the magenta bus in the end.
Stop believing all of the BS that Srini, Katz, Frier, King, etc spew they’re telling you what they want to hear to increase their bank accounts.

Project: Resume RevampAdvice for job hunting in the AI world.
I learned from a recruiter yesterday that when you submit an application to a job board etc., do not put work history on your resume over / past 20 years. Apparently, the AI screening tools will automatically reject the resume if "they" see anything older than 20 years. Good luck out there!
I will have to re-do my resume!
Remember
People who are:
Conscientious
Educated
Loyal
Ethical
…often suffer more in systems that quietly reward politics.
You didn’t fail the system. The system failed you.
That realization is painful — but also freeing.
You are not behind.
You are not broken.
You are transitioning out of a place that could not hold you with integrity.
Onward and Upward!

Shell Chemical Earnings..time to look for a new job
Just looked at the earnings for Shell’s chemical business coming up and margins dropped from 160 to 140 a metric ton, obviously giving the business a significant loss on top of the business already struggling. I think this is pretty much the last straw and Shell will either be closing or fire selling all chemical assets to stop the bleeding. Any thoughts?
Best places to seek employment
Im way out of my comfort zone since ive been at this sh-t hole too long. Anyone have suggestions on decent places to consider? Ive heard going through some sites like linkedin arent really reliable
2 IMs
Mid year and end of year IM, with both reviews claiming I was trending towards IM. In a DF group that has seen very few cuts. How scared should I be?
I've already started looking
I'm not even going to bother to wait. There might not be many, but there are available remote jobs in my field and I plan to apply to every single one of them. I'm not staying around for this cr-p.
I'm so burnt out from the job hunt
Barely two months after laying off 350 employees, including many locally, CarMax has just cut hundreds more jobs. The Goochland-based used car giant announced today another mass layoff of 230 workers at its corporate offices.

Are there Att cyber security jobs in Charlotte NC?
Att Cyber security Jobs were and are still being posted but are they being filled?
I recall a rename of att cyber security group to “level blue “ last ear before the vacancy postings.
Any insights?
So many rejection emails
I'm starting to lose hope that anybody is actually hiring.
Worries and woes everywhere.
Everyone is on edge, wringing their hands hoping that all will be well in regards to their employment.
Lots of naysayers out there. Lots off people who desperately try to sell that its not use to look for jobs elsewhere. Lots of people who try to tell you that if someone got let go “it must be because they got a deserved 4 rating”.
While both can be true, neither is exclusively always true.
The one thing that I know for sure 100% is that you are guaranteed to NEVER find a job outside of Citi if you don’t start looking. Many don’t want to take the leap out of fear of starting over and having to prove themselves. Ok, then all the stress you get from Citi going forward will be forever shackled to you. If you don’t like your world then change your world. Easy, no. Quick, usually not. Impossible, absolutely not. Worth it, for piece of mind, oh you bet it is.
As one other poster mentioned, many people NEED to believe that if someone got let go its because they were a sustained 4 in all areas for an extended amount of time. They have to believe that so that they can take themselves out of that bucket that it could happen to them. They need to believe that if they do all the right things, they are safe.
The actual truth is much uglier than what they can handle.
Work hard, keep your head down, sharpen your skills. Search externally for jobs and apply. Rinse, repeat until you find something and move on. Keep in mind that Citi wants you to move on. They are taking measures to encourage you to leave. If you survive this round, then congratulations, you get to take up the slack for everyone else. You get more work and with most assuredly shortened deadlines with a higher expectations to never make a mistake. Keep in mind all the while with no increase in pay. Its ok though because it’ll be summed up with “don’t forget about your work life balance” speech. To Citi “work life balance” is that your family needs to be ok with you working all the time.
BENEFITS DEPT REDUCTION?
Has anyone heard of benefits dept being offshored? I’ve seen 2 posts on linkedin since yesterday from people on benefits team looking for next opportunity.
Job market is a nightmare
So many people are going for same job. Some jobs I’m overqualified and recruiters think I’m not going to stick around. It’s rough out there!
Job market is horrific
With everything that's been happening I've been looking and applying like crazy for a couple of months and all I'm getting is complete silence in return. I don't remember it being this bad even at the start of the pandemic. To say I'm worried would be an understatement.
Be ready!
Get that resume updated for anything that's coming up sooner than expected..
Worried about the contact permission box
It's been ages since I applied anywhere. That question about contacting my current job really gave me pause. With how things are here, that could end badly. What's the general move for everyone else looking around quietly? I need some advice on this step.
To everyone who got a 4
Start looking for a new job if you got a 4, you will be part of the layoffs/rif this year. It will come in two waves. End of January and in March. Prepare now for your exit with Citi if you got a 4.
This is what worries me
For workers in white-collar fields like tech, consulting, and media, it's an especially weird moment — fewer layoff headlines, but still difficult conditions when it comes to landing a new job. The larger companies may be done cutting for the moment, but they're not ready to rehire aggressively in the parts of the economy that tend to drive long-term productivity and wage growth.

Layoffs confirmed - insider info
On a call with leaders and managers. 25,000 layoffs last year, expect another re-org (or as it was said in the meeting; 'reshuffle') at the earliest mid-February.
Employee confidence in Cisco, it's direction and future are at an all time low according to leadership. The only positive is RTO reigniting local hire after years of stagnation.

L3 Harris North Amityville.
Its that time folks. Start looking!! Leaving the Harris chapter in 2025 was essential to a much better life , financially, emotionally and physically. Grab a new role elsewhere before it gets flooded with applicants. Advice for L3 Harris DEI hires, there are Aerospace companies on Long Island that don’t accommodate DEI ( currently employed at one). Only qualified applicants win the role. Mana Mana😂
Sampath recycled last year’s slides
No change and same old BS recycled..
I have zero hope from this company or any change. Time to find new job..
These executives are tone deaf
Jumping The Titanic
Chanel RTW, bags and shoes are pulling out of seven locations, mostly in California. Once the fires flare up, everything is affected. Sales associates are scared of losing job/liquidation/store closing, and they are being left with nothing to sell. Many other brands are expected to follow Chanel and pull out as well. I also heard that a few vendors are threatening to pull out completely from Saks and Neiman Marcus.
Good luck, y’all—get your best résumé ready!
It's been a year since my layoff
I was laid off from TMUS a year ago. I was there a long time, since before Sprint. The company changed, it no longer supports the needs of the many, only the few.
If you are on this board and still employed by T-Mobile, you are stressed about losing your job. It's as simple as that. You are worried that you are next.
My new role pays similar as my old role, but with 10% of the stress. And honestly, most of my stress at TMUS stemmed from feeling that a layoff would come for me eventually. And it did.
My advice is to get out. Let them destroy the company without you. Start working on your resume, put it out there, do a few interviews. Just get out. Make that your new years resolution.
