R2B IS Gone

I have knowledge that in the midst of 200 stores being converted you will see the r2b space dissolved. I was in discussion that split compensation is a waste of money and that with the stores going indirect the biz customers who come in store will be directly called from a inside sales rep when they sign in, and converted with in store pickup. B2B space is safe and CE. Wish you R2B REPS LUCK!

Could unionizing bring the layoffs under control?

Is it time for T-Mobile to unionize? The leaders of the company clearly don’t care about the employees.

Unionizing could slow down and complicate the process of mass tech company layoffs by introducing legal and financial barriers through collective bargaining agreements.

CWA & IBEW both have telecom representation.

What % of people laid off this wave?

I see that there are planned layoffs in March and June, although I wonder if the source is one post on blind which might or might not be true. Either way it would help to evaluate what % is laid off? Cali laid of 175/2300 which is close to 10% budget as Cali is expensive? Post your % numbers based on anecdotal evidence

Historical Culture Question

I was hired about two years ago so I only know the cultural under this CEO and CEO leadership. Honest question for those who have been here for a decade or so - how does this culture compare to prior CEOs and leadership team? Better? worse? If different, then how?

GNT???

Anyone have any idea what's going to happen in GNT, specifically in the RF, System Performance, Equipment Engineering, Construction Engineering, Real Estate and Network Assurance groups? Dan says we must continue to have a good network but these teams are already stretched to the max.

Should Mike, George and John come back.

As chairman of Frontier.. does John Stratton come back?

Maybe Mike Lanman and George Fischer weren’t also so bad; compared to what we had the last decade?

Remember when the 10 points of the Credo were stuck on every wall, printed and stuck on every desk.

It could have been worse

It really could have been worse when you think about the numbers people were throwing around earlier, because there were plenty of conversations where folks talked about 20,000 cuts or even 29,000. I guess that makes 15,000 feel almost like the least awful version of the situation. Still bad, though.

Former Verizon employees

Hi, Verizon employee here. I have heard that many former Verizon employees went to T-Mo. If you are one of them, can you provide some insight into the similarities and differences? Not asking for specifics, just generalizations. Curious about how different we all are. I am former ATT and found both ATT and VZ to be pretty similar

Return to Office Policy in 2026

I’ve heard that conversations are happening to reinstate a return to office for the entire work-week as opposed to the current 3-day requirement. Does anybody have any additional intel to confirm or deny this is on the table?

I feel like the open seating setup is not ideal due to noise, lack of routine, etc and having everybody in the office is going to make it that much more difficult to be productive. At least give us a cube so teams can sit together and you know where to find someone as opposed to walking around aimlessly.

Bottom line though - so many of us would still be on zoom sessions for most meetings so a full return to office just isn’t needed to increase productivity and relationships. Leave it where it is and allow us to be adults - if we need the face time, we go in. If not, then we don’t.
