I didn't get layed off - not this time, at least. I like this forum as it makes me realize I'm not the only one feeling miserable at Cisco. This forum is about lay offs, and so I suspect the number of posts will drop over time (and spike at the next... — read more

I recommend getting your resume professionally re-done. After 12 years at cisco I didn't update my resume with industry recruiter standards. There's a lot of deals on groupon too. I just had mine done! I feel more confident. Good luck!
Does Cisco have a block on those LR'd from getting re-hired?
I am wondering if Cisco is flagging those LR'd and blocking them from getting re-hired into the company? This may be a hush, hush thing but it seems like those LR'd have no job openings for them, even if they are qualified for those roles.
