Who will get affected this next wave? Non-union again? Or Union? Any sources out there?

we are hearing rumors that employees are moving to a different location in january and there could be a layoff round in december and that butters construction and the boca development fell through and there might be a fire sale of the facility like 320 park last year. What have all of you heard ?

Not sure what’s going on anymore. All the people that officially got impacted were only part timers and a couple of our stores in our market got shutdown/turned to indirect. By any chance, may they resume calls tomorrow or are we safe. I kept hearing rumors of tenure & performance was going to be a factor, but no one that fits the category got impacted atleast yet i also heard rumors that round 2 is coming on q1…. I havent officially got the “youre safe” message from my leaders

I am wondering if there any rumors about layoffs? It has been really quite and lower level management states that there will be no layoffs. Just curious. I see topics about a bunch of other topics, but not layoffs.

I’ve been hearing all kinds of rumors, some of them pretty outlandish. I can’t figure out what, if anything, might be true.

I’ve seen so many messages and status updates. From where I am, it looks like a lot.

What’s the severance package like? Enhanced and 3 weeks per year like it’s been in the past? Standard 2 weeks per year? Or is it really just 1 week per year like some rumors have mentioned?

They RIFed 70 people in corporate a couple of weeks ago. Any word of any more? New VP said he couldn’t promise there wouldn’t be another one.

I just got word this suppose Thursday deadline is just rumor. This is postponed our another month as more high level discussions occur. So just relax enjoy thanksgiving.

You can almost smell it in the air!

This place was silent before the layoffs and now it's full of unsubstantiated rumors.  You folks are tone deaf and have analytical skills of a toddler. I'd say there is 99% chance company is done with layoffs.  Even if they had plans for more layoffs in December, my guess is that they are scrambling to cancel them.  The winds in DC have shifted.  The entire country has shifted.  They are in the damage control stage now.  You don't layoff more people in the country on the verge of recession and in the midst of losing so many votes. You on the other hand give them some perks back which they have started doing.

Are there any layoffs today? I have had counterparts from other banks ask if I was impacted by the US Bank layoffs today…
I have not heard anything about a layoff, so maybe it’s a rumor?

My original assumption is that fully remote workers are going to get laid off soon since this guy is adamant about enforcing full RTO. But who knows these days..

Be cautious of what you take from this forum -- there is a bias. People paranoid, with a negative mindset, or disgruntled are more likely to be on here -- that should be obvious.
Additionally anyone can post on here -- and if a Chinese group went through the trouble hack into the company, then this is low hanging fruit for any country that wants to cause chaos in the US economy. Just pop on an anonymous forum, and spew off rumors about upcoming layoffs -- incredibly easy way to manipulate the stock market.

Been hearing rumors through the grapevine of more RIFs at RFAB

November 19th has been confirmed as a Wednesday blood bath. Then later in the week, or the next week for a 2nd RIF round. I was told not just US staff either.

So the day has come and gone. And I’m sure the goal post will also be moved. Everyone’s wear Monday morning. The senior directors will know. Then commenters I know it’s in the afternoon or close of business. Well, the time is coming to pass. Tomorrow apparently we were supposed to see mass resignation emails. I’m sure that goal plus will also be moved. Can any senior director confirm if they’ve gotten notice?

I've heard from a few people that there's no need to worry about layoffs until next year. The higher-ups don't want to upset people too close to the holidays. Is this true or is it just wishful thinking?

Country specific as each European countries have different layoff laws.
A lot of field sales will go.
Accounts will be managed centrally in a lot of cases. Enterprise contracts won’t be renewed as they come up on term.
This is what happens when you run a company into the ground.
The international VBG backbone network will massively shrink in size, countries will be exited..
the on again off again BT global JV or merger seems to at least being discussed again.. And or rumours of VBG enterprise going to HCL.. that I doubt though as when MNS went to HCL they let HCL RIF everyone who transitioned over.
Can count on 1 hand the amount of large clients left… cost base is approx double actual revenue has been like this for a decade and year on year getting worse.
Basically looking at a VBG exit strategy internationally.. This is what Dan meant in Q3 analyst call - we have parts of the business that are costing us Billions in margin.

Are they going to layoff first then re-org at a later time? Or is everything happening simultaneously?
