"Layoffs" are not true layoffs at SF

Just a heads-up... firings are commencing at a rapid rate in certain areas. If you have many years with the company and the expectations lately have shifted until they feel like heavy proverbial noose...wiggle out of there quick! You will get no warning. Just bam. Random day, random hour...they'll come for you.... and you are left with NOTHING. Just so relieved my Mom finally saw the light and already changed companies for her own coverages. She herself a retiree with many years of service at SF. People mean LESS THAN NOTHING to SF anymore.
Not that sad to be heading out to make my life better now; I am prepared to make changes and succeed despite that company trying to make me feel more useless every day. When I succeed wildly-and I WILL!- I will have them in mind....only in the most negative way possible.

Not falling for it

The new strategy seems clear - scare us into quitting so they don't have to pay severance. Managers are allowed to treat people terribly and threaten us with firings but I've never seen anyone actually fired. Let them try. I'm not doing them any favors. If they want me out, they can pay me what I'm owed.

Three things need to happen IMMEDIATELY on Sept 2!

1) Change the name of Truist. People still make fun of it.

2) Fire all management and hire business support groups to win business for the bank. Corrupt management has plagued this bank.

3) Get out of the d-mbest contracts alive with the golf sponsorship and the Braves. They add ZERO value. The bank has plummeted despite having these sponsorships and apply the money to better suit shareholders.

Everett purge / Boston purge

I am being let go today at 10am well I think at 10am there is a random meeting with myself and the wonderful people team and my manager set for then. I haven’t been here long , was out of the Boston office told to go to Everett for time being. Only been with company for 4 years, so I’m not too upset. The way they went about it was just unprofessional in my honest take. My grandmother died last year and I will admit I didn’t put In for bereavement right away due to I was very close to her and had to travel to California for services. They got me with failure to meet RTO because I was in fact red for that time period so I guess it’s my own fault. Just to me seems dastardly to get me for that when I’ve gotten all meets or above since I have been here. I told my manager I know it’s not his fault and he apologized but I guess that is how they are doing things now. Just be careful with your days in office or any tiny hang up they can get you on. Wish everyone good luck in finding new jobs away from here.

A shift I've noticed

It used to be formal layoffs with packages were the only thing to worry about. Now they're moving toward firing people individually. I personally know three people let go for reasons that made no sense. One had fine reviews but was told their performance was poor. Really? I hope they talk to a lawyer.

Fire these folks!

If you’ve ever met the team leads of Home Delivery such Fax or Document Management team, they should lay them off. Never i have ever seen team tech leads do absolutely nothing in the office, finding ways to avoid work as well as tormenting employees in front of management to show how powerful they are. No wonder Home Delivery is losing funding. You guys are paying employees to sit around and do nothing

Geoff got all choked up…

Thought he was gonna cry saying goodbye to his buddy Brett on the earnings call. Clearly he didn’t want to fire him and EM forced his hand. Neuroscience performance was awful (again)… when was the last time they hit plan??? Getting rid of Brett was long overdue— Geoff you are next

Mid year ratings

Let the fun times begin cause it’s almost upon us. Who wants to place bets that we will see a repeat of last year with falsifying ratings so they can terminate people based on bogus performance? Then Robbie can look amazing for saving the bank millions without saying how

Oldie but goodie question

Actually, a few: (1) What is the time that one is contacted to be told they are being let go – – or fired? (2) Are they still sticking to every other Tuesday or is it any day of the week? (3) with the mid year evaluations coming up, are they holding on the firings and layoffs until after the midyear reviews are presented?

Silent firing 2.0

Surprised BofA isn't featured at the top. Silent firing 2.0 is the 2026 playbook for pushing workers out without paying severance. https://www.metaintro.com/blog/silent-firing-2026-managed-out-playbook

HR Advisory Services - Elavon / MPS

As a whole, HR Advisory Services for Elavon / MPS is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. They are literally salivating to fire individuals. Spreadsheet management hacks at best. Placing any trust in this team of veiled “consultants” would be a bad move. Stay far away, the clock is ticking and they’re out for blood.

Advice from fellow industry worker

I work for US Bank's competitor and out of curiousity checked this site. I see a lot of uproar about RTO...believe me, we also went through it in 2022.

My advice to all of you is to be careful.
If they aren't checking your in network office time, they will be. A bunch of our employees got fired over swiping badges and leaving or minimal office network connectivity.
A bunch of others got fired because they were in non compliance.

Sadly, you won't win this fight. We have also tried everything and the push back was immense. Corporate America is all copying each other and they want people back in offices.

Wish you all the best.

Robin the dipsh-t on fox news

Why does this fool continue to push his lies? Lets flood miss Mornings with Maria who interviewed him and let her know what crumpet man is really doing with firing forced bah employees and falsifying performance ratings to terminate or not pay merit to bah again
