Jobs Posted Are Bogus/Faux

Majority of UHC/Optum job postings are bogus/faux. They are posted to suffice investors & shareholders that business is booming. Employees know differently. Stock has taken a hit & the scramble continues. Mass layoffs are desperate attempt to save the sinking ship.

For those let go, don’t plan to get re-hired. It’s smoke & mirrors on our job boards. HireVue, interviews with recruiters & hiring managers - it’s all faux. This is reported to investors & gives illusion all is good. Facts don’t lie.


Annual layoff at TIAA / Nuveen

Turns out there was actually a real annual layoff recently, not related to the Coffee Badging thing, even though this enforcement accelerated greatly and many people were laid off for that too.

But it is odd that the annual layoff where people were let go for cost cutting reasons from the company didn't make waves on this forum at all.


Cree Lighting, United Natural Foods Announce Sturtevant Layoffs

BizTimes editor Andrew Weiland appeared on WISN-TV Channel 12. He discussed recent business headlines in southeastern Wisconsin. Topics included the closure of Rare Steakhouse in downtown Milwaukee. Major layoffs at two Sturtevant companies were also highlighted. Cree Lighting is eliminating 172 jobs, and United Natural Foods is cutting 443 jobs.

When “Open Roles” Aren’t Really Open: A Look at LSEG Workspace Hiring

50 years

The sun began to set over the 50 year anniversary celebration as the band filled the air with a steady rhythm that kept the energy high. Time for Charlie to Resign

Since Charlie Scharf assumed command of Wells Fargo, the company has deteriorated both from a macro and micro perspective. He has laid off staff, the stock has collapsed, and he lacks leadership skills and clients have suffered. Therefore, at the next townhall meeting, a vote will be taken and Charlie should be asked to leave. Then, the firm should be broken up into separate parts and sold. Enough is enough.


Crystal Dynamics Cuts 20 Jobs in Fourth Reduction

Crystal Dynamics recently laid off 20 employees from its workforce. This reduction included both developers and operations team members. The studio explained it analyzes its structure as games advance development stages. This marks the fourth round of layoffs for the company since March 2025. The studio confirmed these cuts will not impact Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis or Tomb Raider: Catalyst.

Last company I worked for when oil hit 120 a barrel went under. Wells wont go under but the Fed will allow it to be bought and merged.


Gossamer Bio Cuts Staff After Dr-g Study Disappoints

Gossamer Bio announced poor results from a key study. The San Diego company's stock value dropped by 78%. Gossamer Bio is now laying off 77 workers. This cut reduces its workforce by 48%. The company aims to conserve cash and plans to meet with the FDA.
