Dead Organization

Converse layoffs. Nike layoffs. Layoffs, layoffs, layoffs. Holy fvck. Just die already.

I've been here for 12 years and I am so burned out by it all.

No money for anything. No baIIs to do what's right. Shovel jobs to India where they don't give 2 shlts.

Why should any of us care anymore? I feel like I'm working at the Blockbuster of shoe companies.

Kaparuk

Operations generally strive to perform well so the company will see the value they bring and not put them up for sale.
Kaparuk uses the strategy of performing poorly and constantly whining and complaining so no one will buy them and ConocoPhillips is stuck with this group of industry rejects

Are there any CSC employees still left in the USA?

I worked for the CSC and got JE last year. I could tell it was coming because a lot of our work was being moved to India and they were lying to the employees about it. The customers started complaining because of the language barrier and general lack of knowledge of these overseas agents. Does anyone knows the current status of the CSC? Are there any employees still left in the USA or is it entirely in India now?

Halftime Commercial

You have got to be kidding me SF. You walk out of California and then advertise in a California you walked out of. A halftime show that even in California the spectators looked at each other in dismay. Not the SF I once knew. A very woke, Anti America, and lost its way company. SF did not learn from Budweiser. Values create wealth. Wealth does not create values. In short, your marketing is equal to your ethics and values. In the toilet.

After a 75% Drop, Here’s Where I Am

I’m being straightforward here: I’m not keeping my money in Fiserv anymore. In 2025, I tried to offset some of the losses by buying as we slid, hoping we’d stabilize. Looking at my vested RSUs now is just discouraging. In a single year, we lost nearly 75% of our value. I know it’s technically a paper loss, but it’s hard to see it as anything other than a disincentive.

We also haven’t seen meaningful insider investment from leadership. It feels like we’re in a defensive crouch — holding ground, cutting costs, and trying to ride out the storm. I still believe this company can turn things around, but 2025 took a lot of the loyalty out of me.

As we head into Tuesday’s announcement, all we can really do is hope together. With the lack of clarity and vision from the top, hope is the only thing we’ve been given.

Less employees, Lot more work

No point of layoffs if they replace with new people. So they won’t. They are going to try to reduce costs if they laid off people. Some people think that they be safe if they survive layoffs. So they keep asking on this site “are there any layoffs?” and participate in rumors about it. Even though you don’t get a layoff, your workload will increase. Believe me all this types of conversations and any decisions will just make the company sink.

What are you hearing about Feb 9th week for Support Office layoffs?

Tons of rumors about layoffs starting Wednesday or Thursday, followed by a town hall. And/or significant re-organization. What groups are you hearing will be impacted? Are there any areas deemed "safe" from layoffs? Feels like something big is about to happen.

Project Omni

So Kyndryl very secretively initiated Project Omni to displace US workers with ones in low cost countries like India. Someone got a whiff of it, and the project was shutdown. The resources hired/shortlisted for Omni are now being accommodated to other projects where the demand is.
Another day at Kyndryl…

ENGINE is a farce

Did you know that any workflow sent to ENGINE has to be run in parallel/duplicated for 6 months to 1 year by the team offloading it? Meaning for most of 2026, any ENGINE success will likely be due to their USA counterparts. It’s a hilarious sad irony that any work sent there will be 100% redundant (so efficient!!!), and meanwhile we have to manage the same workload as a year ago with 30% fewer people. Everything you hear about ENGINE over the next year + will be utter propaganda.

Area Occupancy Sensors

Has anyone at 1515 noticed the VergeSense occupancy sensors? They are on the floor in corners and look unassuming like a Wi-Fi router but are indeed monitors. Completely ludicrous (in the dictionary definition of the word). Hope the job market picks up soon.
