Citi work environment is total chaos
Very few people are actually doing their jobs, and there’s zero accountability when they do not. Processes are completely broken, and anyone with a decent work ethic ends up carrying the load for everyone else. I’m beyond exhausted by this and seriously tempted to walk away, even without another job lined up.
I wish people would stop telling me "you’re lucky to have a job in this economy"
Having a job at DXC where I haven’t gotten a raise in four years effectively means that I’ve been taking a pay cut each year due to inflation, and my work has just been increasing. I can’t think of a single person outside of those at the very top who can be considered “lucky to have a job” here.
Feeling sidelined and undermined
Lately, it’s like I’m being pushed out without anyone saying it outright. Whenever I ask questions about a process, I get shut down and told to just figure it out. I’m not given the same time to learn new tasks as others, and when I flagged a coworker for mistreatment, it felt like I was the one in the wrong. Meanwhile, that coworker got promoted the same month after treating me poorly. I put in the work, my performance is strong, but recognition and support seem non-existent. Even small gestures others get, like acknowledgment on anniversaries, completely skip me. I honestly don’t know who to trust. Anyone else dealing with something similar?
There’s basically no roadmap for moving up
Career development feels like an afterthought at SAP. Whether you advance or not comes down entirely to whatever your manager feels like that week. It’s exhausting and discouraging when your effort doesn’t even guarantee a chance to grow. I need a new job ASAP.
Two people on my team fired this month
Is anybody else seeing an uptick in firings or is this an isolated incident? I’m spiraling a bit and starting to worry they’ve decided to save on severance by outright kicking people out without anything, so it’d be nice to know that’s not what’s happening here.
Each year is worse than the previous one
I don’t even want to think about what 2026 is going to be like, considering that for the past five years, if not longer, every single year has been worse in some respect than the one before it. More layoffs, fewer benefits, and a culture that keeps deteriorating. Let’s just say I’m not looking forward to finding out what the next year brings.
Is anybody else dreading going into work?
Being away for a week only made me realize how miserable I am at Dell. I know I'll be tripling my job search efforts in the new year.
How is engineering doing?
Seems that there's a lot of happy engineers here, are y'all actually happy? Or is there a troll here
Forced ranking
So are we now incentivized to hope our colleagues can’t perform or sc--w up? With a forced rank rating system, that’s what will happen. Not ‘one team’ anymore
How’s your store treating you!?
Just curious how other store managers supported their teams during the holiday season. Our location did not receive any form of acknowledgment — not even a simple holiday greeting. There were no small gestures of appreciation such as candy, food, or a thank-you, despite the team working extremely hard throughout the busiest month of the year.
Many associates felt overworked and under-appreciated after consistently going above and beyond during the holiday rush. While retail is understood to be demanding, basic human decency and acknowledgment should still be expected in any workplace.
After many years in retail, this level of disregard is disappointing and concerning. The lack of appreciation has significantly impacted morale and reflects a larger issue with leadership and company culture.
For some, this holiday season has solidified the decision that it will be their last Christmas with Macy’s.
I can’t wait for the holiday season to be over
I’m close to a breaking point and more exhausted than I’ve ever been. After this rush, it will just turn into anxiety about the job, the future of the store, and what happens next. I badly need real rest, and I doubt I’ll get any. I hope the rest of you are doing better. This time of year is absolutely brutal.
Chiming in to wish you all a Merry Christmas and happy holidays
I hope not many of you see this post because you’re spending time with family and enjoying a relaxing few days. This past year has been tough, and I’m keeping those who lost their jobs in my thoughts. For the rest of us, I hope the coming year is better, or at least calmer, and that things improve for all of us at work.
How are you holding up?
My store has been very busy, and we’ve been run off our feet. Partly that’s due to incompetent management, but there’s also been a lot of customer traffic. I’m hearing that not all stores have been this crowded. I’m curious to see what the final holiday numbers look like. I hope they’re good - it might improve our chances of keeping our jobs.
Want the public to know the Real DXC
You all can post on this site every minute of every day and it won’t make a difference.
You want the public The analyst? that rate DXC n the financial markets to know what’s really is going on with. moral , non-existence merit pay increases
Then hit them where it will be seen , Pist in their social media posts, Linkedin in etc.
I have an am starting to get a lot more likes (people stepping up) than I did 2 years ago.
Also if you hate your employer so much , why are you still there, afraid to get another Job , don’t have the skills required, comfortable (i was and stayed 13 years with 2 pay increases)
Chevron lost the plot
There was a time when working here meant something. Now the dominant emotion is exhaustion. Pride has been replaced by fear and trust is all gone. Whatever made this company special did not survive the last few years.
Burned out and stuck
I’m exhausted and nowhere near retirement. Leaving feels impossible after investing this much time, but staying isn’t easy either. Sometimes I wish the decision would just be made for me.
2026…….
So Christmas is over, how many people woke up this morning to the uncertainty of 2026 at Xerox.
Spineless leadership in the CEO, the UK led by a CMO who only thinks about himself, his family, friends and sycophants.
What kind of place is this ??????
What else can they take away?
In the last several years alone, we've had nearly a dozen rounds of layoffs and constant team shuffles. They took away stock options for most employees, cut a ton of benefits, and bonuses are a joke. At what point do you just admit the writing is on the wall? It feels like we're all just waiting for the next bad news to drop.
It is sad to see losing colleagues to exxon
Really really good geologists, engineers…Talent is the real competitive advantage.
Merry Christmas to all...
...of my former co workers and fellow ex-empkoyees.
Except for the current and former executives and board members. May you all rot in the he-l your soulless carcasses deserve.
Hey thanks for nothing upper management!
I mean that's really it. Billion dollar company. Our manager didnt even gift us some measley points for Christmas.
just do the minimum
if you work at belk in a store. do the absolute minimum. they dont care about you. why should you bust your butt for them? these people that bend over backwards for belk are id--ts. they think belk cares about them and belk and corpoorate does not.
Is there an hr for speak up?
If you go to speak up for ethical misconduct by a cabal of leadership reinforced by HR and Speak Up covers is up, what is the next move? Email Farley’s CDSID? Looking for answers. Every time we have holidays I seem to get punished for enjoying time off so I know the worst is yet to come.
Sad xmas
I can’t sleep after being laid off by digi-wreck a few months back and not finding anything to replace my job. I could not buy gifts this year for my kids and we are all scared.. I tried to apply for fast food, retail, and construction jobs until I find something in IT and they said I was over qualified. We will keep trying. Please don’t forget those of us that were laid off and those that will be losing their jobs next year. It is really sad and very real. I wish they had just told us there was a high possibility of lay offs in advance so we could have searched before the layoffs happened but they didn’t trust their teams . My family does wish you all happiness this holiday season.
228-villages.
I work at 228-the villages Florida and it’s a 💩 show. It’s atrocious
Season of Giving
Remote employees were once again showered with lavish gifts and people in Milwaukee got nothing. The only give TG the Grinch gave local employees was the gift of paying for more gas to commute, paying more for parking, and extra time in the restroom if you manage to find something to eat at the cafeteria. Bah humbug
Thank you customers and supporting cast
I am sending warm holiday greetings and a big hug to all of our customers and managers like the HR leader helping us on this board. You have been with us and donated time and comments to help us. Some customers also hit them in their pocket book to stand with us. I am a single mom who feels disrespected and totally frightened and your help is really gratifying and loved by us all. Happy holidays to all of you who stand with us! I saw a nice email from the CEO wishing us happy holidays and it was nicely written. Maybe the grinch’s heart is warming and the changes we need in the changing of bad leaders will come in January. I am hoping for that more than anything.
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas to my underlings,
Let’s be clear: your output this year has been underwhelming at best. You have not fully committed to inspiring and building better lives and communities; and frankly, it’s embarrassing. I need you to work harder next year so my bonus doesn’t suffer because of your mediocrity.
Despite the fact that none of you have earned it, I might throw you a 1% raise, and that’s a big might. That goodwill evaporates the moment I hear another word about the 5-day RTO. I’m beyond tired of the whining, the entitlement, and the endless complaining. Do your jobs, show up where you’re told, and keep your opinions to yourselves.
Go ahead and enjoy whatever time you have with your families now, because starting next week your time belongs to me. Don’t get comfortable, don’t get ideas, and don’t forget who signs the checks.
Sincerely,
Bill
Can Verizon be saved?
The fusion of all positive energy were gone. It’s already in the mid downfall. Game over is nearing or is it just spawning? One thing I see, no diamond in Verizon. I ‘ll sit back and watch.
If you sale your soul to ruin other lives
What’s the point of anything?
Did this post somehow catch your eye?
Is it making you stop to think? Feeling the need to comment?
Does it resonate with you some way?
Moral compromises?
Are you lying to yourself?
Deep down, gut feeling, do you know you are doing something wrong?
No fear of what is to come next?
Remember we are but a blip on the timeline.
Looks like you made it this far.
Maybe this post is the reminder or push you need to turn around your soul rot.
Is your soul rotting at U.S. Bank?
Merry Christmas
I would like express a Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to all active and retired employees. Wishing you all a wonderful new year and hope that a turnaround of a once great company occurs.
Bah humbug
Bandy the Clown can not even be bothered to send the “troops” a Christmas message. While they usually say nothing and spout BS not to make an effort is an all time low when I thought he could get no lower. Maybe him and the new CMO have decided that internal communication is no longer needed?
Since SB, DC and the EC can’t be bothered I will say it - Happy Holidays 🙂
Christmas bonus
It is my first year in DXC and I was surprised to hear there is no 13th salary, no bonus, NOTHING for Christmas. It is the first company I worked for that has such policy, all my colleagues have bonuses every quarter (or at least twice a year), here - nothing. Is it some kind of one time miss due to the hard financial situation or company policy not to care for their employees?
It doesn’t feel like Christmas
I should be excited about the holiday, but I can't stop worrying. Knowing more layoffs are coming, knowing they could announce them any day now… It's hard to feel any festive spirit when you're waiting for that kind of news. This whole situation just feels so wrong.
I’m really worried about Ford at this point
The people who could actually make a difference are the ones being let go, while executives keep making the same mistakes and rewarding themselves. The board should be stepping in, but it feels like no one’s paying attention. It’s exhausting to watch a company with so much potential get mishandled over and over.
The Saddest Place to Work 2025
As the former employee I could only to sum up that in 2025 O was the saddest place to work through the years.
Happy Holidays to you guys!
Is it really that bad if I’m hoping to be laid off in the next round?
The odds of finding another job anytime soon are very low. Rationally, I should want to hold on to this one, no matter how bad it is. But the toxicity and manipulation, being overworked and underappreciated, the constant exhaustion, and having so little ability to make decisions that actually benefit clients have pushed rational thinking out of the picture. I just can’t keep doing this job if I want to be even remotely good to myself.
Why is everyone staying?
Turnover’s exploding everywhere else, but here things feel oddly frozen. I’m still looking for something better, but most of my team seems content to stay put. Makes me wonder whether they know something I don’t or if people are just exhausted.
State Farm Life
It is so obvious State Farm is all image without no substance. What say you?
