We're looking at major layoffs

Let's get real. With results the way they are, we know there'll be some immediate action to try and "fix" the problem. The easiest way to do it is by cutting operating costs, which equals layoffs. The only question right now is not "will we have... — read more

Q4 Missed on Revenue....what a shock

What a complete shock that HW missed on revenue after furloughing the people who generate revenue. Who could have ever predicted this would happen?!

HON is not worth your time

At HON, I advanced through the ranks rather quickly. I gave it my all every day, but in my last position, I couldn't get along with a VP who told me directly that I wasn't worth his time to coach/ mentor. The HBT CFO gladly wanted me back, but GL... — read more

They are making irreparable mistakes

If a company lays off the best and the most capable employees while hiring some of the biggest mediocrity, as is happening here, I wonder what it all leads to? I hope the leadership does not think that it will be easy to correct the damage in the... — read more

If you get a raise (Lol) when are you notified, and when does it take place? Thanks for any info..

Minneapolis Minnesota aerospace

I thought I’d start a thread on Minneapolis potential lock out. Honeywell wants to lock out the union. I doubt it will actually happen. We have no backbone and they love their overtime. I think they will have a proposal by Thursday or Friday. We... — read more

DairyA-- Does Dallas

I suppose most everyone saw the internal post about DairyA-- shilling for ESG at Davos. Most probably don't know that HON is also now a WEF global co---e "Strategic Partner" along with the company J&J that just happens to be pushing the jabs. All... — read more

Mass exodus probably coming in 2023

Honeywell boasts to their employees that their number one asset is their employees. Hmmm. Then they furlough them for two weeks taking away 3.8% of their paychecks. Add that to inflation of about 8%. Its no wonder they don't see a mass exodus... — read more

Headcount reduction

The way our leaders manage this company could be managed by just about anyone. Is headcount reduction really the only way for this company to save money? I'm sure it's not.

When a good employee is labeled as a poor performer

I'm trying to keep this job but I am most afraid of those situations when a good employee is labeled as a poor performer, that is, when they completely fabricate someone's poor performance. I don't know how I would react if that happened to me. How... — read more

Inclusivity for thee but not for me?

I am in work today and I noticed fewer cars in the parking lot (because it is MLK day). Last year, one of my BIPOC colleague told me his boss encouraged her to take MLK day off. How inclusive is that when they whisper this to only some of us?

I've changed the way I see this job

After being screwed over one time too many by both my manager and the company, I've completely changed the way I see this job. I'm done being the model employee. I'm done helping out anybody and everybody. I'm not here to make friends. I'm here to... — read more

Payout difference between RIF and Fired?

RIF is one weeks pay per year worked up to 24 weeks. I've heard, when someone is outright fired there is a payout too. What is that (being fired) payout compared to the payout for a RIF?

ESG

Move your 401K before they invest into "Green Energy". Here in the States it has become law that they no longer have to invest your money into what is profitable for you, rather what is good for the environment. If you doubt the impact of ESG on... — read more

2% Raise every year from Aero

Who in their right mind at Honeywell thinks long term employees won’t leave for continual raises that don’t keep up with inflation. I believe in a decade , talent will be gone from this policy. Definitely no trickle down economics at Honeywell. — read more

Why does everyone think that it can only get worse here?

I haven't been at HON for a long time, but for now I don't have as many complaints as those who have been here for a long time. When long-timers start talking about how they think it will only get worse here, it is very demotivating.

How does HON even keep afloat anymore?

I almost can't believe it. It's like we're all just treading water, and then the next day, we're doing it again. Rinse and repeat. Don't you ever feel like you're just spinning your wheels?

DA is on his way out

That's the latest scoop. He is not leading many SLT meetings and SBG CEO's are mostly reporting to VK at this point. Two months is the max I give him

Full time return......fact or fiction?

People on here were saying definite full return to work with announcements this week. I am a manager in SPS and have heard nothing of this, did people just make this up!

CNBC Jim Cramer Recommends Honeywell

He said he’s bullish on the stock "because it has several divisions that could be spun off to make Honeywell more focused on more profitable businesses." We can only hope.
