It appears some big news may be announced this week. I’ve heard it could affect teammates. That said, the source isn’t especially reliable, so it’s difficult to know for sure.

There are rumors based on things Shankar said that KKR will be selling part of OMNISSA. Could be an interesting next several months. I for one would welcome any opportunity to get out from under this leadership and KKR, both who have proven they have no idea what they are doing

Rumor has it that IOL LT went to Houston to receive new set of instructions on what to do with their company. Quarry Park HQ is most likely being closed down and staff being moved to downtown (and hundreds of job layoffs in calgary).

Some people saying Exxon will take a full stake in IOL to enable this cut.

Any bets on when the next round is going to be? After q4 earnings come in low? Turnaround falters and tariffs bite?

Rumors are flying around that we are going to have an across-the-board 10% RIF in October. Tariffs and reduction in demand for aerospace products are driving this RIF.

Today's rumour is that oracle is taking to EWC mid September. Was not told who the source of the info is. Likely no action in EMEA until the end of the month or October then?

They are saying layoffs Mid Sept for some and Mid Oct for others on Optum side...shared services, wellmed, ect. What does it look like for UHC/UHG? Should we be expecting the same. The Steve H email makes me think we should.

Lloyds Banking Group will put thousands of its staff at risk of dismissal, with the UK bank’s lowest performers set to be told their work must improve or they face the axe.

The bank plans to overhaul how it manages the performance of its 63,000 employees, according to people with knowledge of the plans, with about 3,000 people deemed among the bottom 5 per cent set to be put at risk of dismissal. About half of those could lose their jobs, the people added.

This is how the 10% in bp will be managed out with the new performance review system.. starting next year (the article also says the bottom 5% will be put on improvement plans..hmm where did i hear that before).. nothing new across industry and the above is wat cheaper than current redundancy programme.. don't say you were not warned !!!

Or is this going to drag on all the way through the end of October? This whole thing has turned into a drawn-out ordeal. And of course, not once have we been told what’s actually happening or what the plan is.

I’ve been told by manager SVP, that despite great results in MEA they want to cut 25% jobs here this fiscal. We literally have no Presales, nor bdm here already.

Chevron Employee here who just went through all the layoffs here. I bet they are going to send IT and other functions overseas. If you are tired of this garbage contact your congressman. It might not help but they need to hear about it.

Seems fishy that one would resign and the rumor mill has been going crazy that there was some shady things going on (theft, lying, etc.). Usually leadership at that level has more of a transition and sends a fair well note.
