Lost there way

This company has lost there way it’s a good ole boys club they spend thousands on meetings that have no relevance just a big ole party and in same breath bi--h about a couple thousand dollars needed to keep operations going they do not upgrade there equipment are bring anything innovative into the industry they have lost hundreds if not thousands of years experience in the last few years due to cuts but keep top loading the boys club it won’t be long before they are irrelevant mark these words

Official South Bow Thread

I see that SOBO went through some cuts. I also see that a few posts were removed due to probably using initials of the degenerate directors. censorship is alive and well.

P.S. sorry for the TCE folks who have to see this in their feeds. South Bow doesn't have its own page yet but no worries, it will be a good laugh for you guys.

Where is the transparency???

This is the weirdest layoff round I had to go through in my life, and I've been through more than a few. What the he-l is even happening? All we know is that some people are getting cut, but how many, where, when it will be done, or anything else is just wild guessing at this point. The. Fu-k.

Voluntary Departures

Year end is approaching, 5 day RTO mandates are looming, and some of the most experienced, high-impact members of our team are choosing to leave for roles elsewhere. Not lazy, quiet contributors bootlickers were most concerning about committing "fraud. But, the people who have held this division together for years, and have constantly pushed the company forward. Turns out, when people know their worth, they look for companies that know it too.

Stagflation - High Inflation - Low Gtowth. Layoffs to keep (Increasing) while Inflation (Rises) into 2026.

Stagflation -

High Inflation - Low Growth.

Is (by far) the greatest threat to the U.S. economy.

High Inflation caused by Trump tariffs.

Unemployment caused by Low Growth.

AI spending helps GDP growth, but U.S. consumer spending is 68%+ of GDP.

Fact -

(U.S.) ISM manufacturing is now (Down) for the (9th consecutive month in a row) due to declining new orders, and service deliveries.

This coincides with the (start) of Trump tariffs.

Confirmed. Layoffs early 1Q

Hi friends. I have it on good authority that layoffs are confirmed for early 1Q 2026 immediately following the holidays. My source said the board recently signed off on the plan of “execution”. Also a major topic of discussion was to relocate the HQ back to Spring TX due to quality of hires found in Oklahoma. This was a similar strategy of our former company, Southwest Energy said they could hire much better Engineers from A&M and the land people from Okie were non consequential hires basically. Although this appears to be a long term plan for Expand after the dust settles from this 25% layoff. I’ll keep this forum updated with more news and stuff. Happy Holidays, y’all!

This is what happens when you are an incompetently managed company and don't realize it

PEP just chugging along with their failing "business as usual" strategy of ja--ing up prices, shrinking the bags, making the same old garbage and producing a negative YTD return while the market is positive 16% and hoping no one will notice. Well, people did notice.

U.S. Xpress enacts broad layoffs amid ‘reduced truck count’

U.S. Xpress laid off employees across the company in response to lower demand for trucking, according to an internal email obtained by the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

PMP

Wrapped up my PMP review before submitting and the writing is on the wall: no promotions, and “exceeds” ratings are being restricted so tightly they’re basically unattainable. Add in the latest S&T message from the tantrum-thrower/demotivator himself, DM, and it’s pretty clear that career mobility at Chevron is dead for the foreseeable future.

Here’s the part that really gets me:
The people now sitting comfortably in higher roles and PSG levels are the same ones who climbed paths they’ve now completely demolished for everyone coming after them. The folks being lined up as “next in line” are being chosen based on experience tied to work that doesn’t even exist in the U.S. anymore. And the ones at the very top — secure in their ivory towers, swimming in cash like Scrooge McDuck — look down and tell everyone else to “work harder” while setting performance bars miles above anything they themselves ever met.

And before anyone says it: yes, I know — “If you don’t like it, leave.”
I’m working on it. I have interviews lined up. Chevron might still want me, but I’m not sure I want Chevron anymore

The board and hatchet a$$

They watched the company being burned to the ground and really didn't care.

They watched the arrogance about a superior network permeate almost the entire company, to the detriment of sales.

They really could give a sh$$ about the employees. They just want their bod fees and options.

They'll do anything for a short term stock pump, even if it means sacrificing people and destroying lives. Here's a clue, less revenue, less customers, less support, less of everything, including the stock price.

They really don't know anything about the actual business, but they're bringing in somebody who's been watching this burn for 7 years and because he was at virgin mobile and is tied in with the AI world he'll know what to do.

Hatchet a$$ can tell jokes, act like he's some cowboy, talk b.s. about how this was needed (he's responsible) and really not care about how many lives he's absolutely destroyed, all he cares about is the millions he continues to make.

They okayed mass layoffs on conference calls, they okayed destroying entire organizations, they talk about customer service but let key people be thrown away, I'm sure those customers are really happy about it (they're not.)

Some people being forced out thank the company for blah, blah, blah, heck to that, F$$$ the board, F$$$ hatchet, and F$$$ anybody who's talking about so-called survivor's guilt; that's a bunch of b.s. and shows what a huge hypocrite and a$$hole you really are, you still have a job (for now.)

F$$$ the board, hatchet, and all those mo--n's who think this is a good thing, it's really not.

Free Bird Here

I see nothing has changed at the Great Blue Monster. Check in here occasionally to find out how many lives they are wrecking this year.

Was caught up in 2022 layoff at PEP after 15 years when my department was offshored.

The last 3.5 years are the best I've had since before I started at PEP.

Feel for those still stuck at that soul crushing company. Much better companies out there to work for.

Wishing you all health, wealth, and happiness.
