Retiring
Over the past year, I have made dozens of posts on The Layoff with ways our company needs to improve. Even though there has been some progress, it is not enough. Disastrous decisions have caused me my retiree health care and froze my pension. I’ve been underpaid for years as many other employees have been. Meanwhile, an inept overpaid Board and high flying Executive VPs and RVPs have benefitted quite nicely. It’s ALL about them. It’s a well orchestrated Ponzi Scheme. I am sick of this place and it has made me ill. I wish all of you the best and in a few weeks it will be my last day after 20 plus years. Time to spend the end of days with my grandbabies and good riddance to Mutual of America.
Vz Stock Reality - sub $50
Well the reality of living off a questionable net adds 4Q/25 is setting in.
Zero change in execution, integration of Frontier and DEI Directors/VPs to execute will continue to drive Vz stock South.
Hiring MBAs to create a theoretical strategy vs meritocracy of employee based results will ensure Vz being aquired in 2-3 years!
Lack of a strong Vz Executive bench and Board all but says " aquire my assets". What
Executives leaving
Two of our executives have recently announced they are departing PNC. One is our Corporate Responsibility Officer and the other is our Chief Information Security Officer. Though we may never know the real reason they are leaving, I find it very ironic that they have both put in their notice shortly before the mandatory five day return to office takes affect.
They are two very highly respected Individuals and it’s sad to see them both leaving. Great talent write out the door.
Thoughts or opinions??
Why Dan now?
As many reiterate Dan was on the board for a number of years before being put in control. The question is why now? Who was responsible for holding him back or was it several on the board? Who has recently departed the board? Maybe those or that individual? Overall it is a shame it took so long as can be seen by his quick actions once CEO. Will Dan take out whoever else kept him back?
Why do people keep speculating Fiserv is going to do layoffs?
Mike Lyons has said repeatedly he cares more about the long-term goals of the company and not trying to do as his predecessor did with layoffs before every quarterly earnings calls. And that's also echoed with other C-Suite executives who have signaled before that the previous labor cuts have hurt the company's position in the market. Fiserv can't afford to trim more staff if they want to retain and attract new clients. So someone explain to me why people here keep saying layoffs are imminent because there are no signals of it from senior management.
Something going on, Execs gone into hiding
Both Drum and Derek A have gone under the radar, cancelling meetings.
Obvious they are going to get a barrage of pay questions which they have been lying about all year.

S4 confirms what we all thought
Clay was only worried about numero uno. He got the CEO and literally gave up everything else. Once the deal is done, expect him to check out and not make any tough decisions while letting the new exec team of 5 Coterra people and 3 Devon people figure out the future of the company. Pretty incredible to have the advantage of being the larger company and give up everything.
Chief HR Officer and Chief Information and Digital Officer resign
No reasons given, only that they'll be resigning, effective in a couple weeks.
It's Time for a change
My impression: it's time for a change.
Raul has changed the Exec Board, tried a lot of things. Nothing helped.
Now a new leader will be looked for, with a new approach, new cronies.
It might take some month still, but I got a feeling the exchange of the CEO is inevitable.
What's your impression?
Lets Be Honest
OVV has assembled the weakest and most incompetent Executive Team in the history of Oil and Gas! Doug, please come back and clean this mess up!
Execs Leaving
Any word on other higher executives getting let go and how much will that impact the people under them really? Will whole teams be impacted?
Employee Appreciation Day
What a joke, absolutely tone deaf Execs making this stuff up.
RIF 13k, now to appreciate you learn how to use AI tools
Well THAT was a little unexpected!!
What’s your reaction the the big SLT restructuring email?
Leadership firings
There are senior leadership firings that are not making sense. Talented people that go above and beyond with a lot of seniority or experience. They must be getting fired bc they just earn more. This is another huge blow to morale, why would I want to move up in a company like that?
Executive level leadership is woefully unqualified and terrible messaging.

Executive board DEI layoffs!
Because of pressure from the US administration, SAP stopped most DEI programs in 2025. And now, two. Executive Board members will “step down” or “not renew contracts”.
Gina is a woman and was compassionate towards trans employees so she’s gone. We will not see a female executive board member for a long long time.
Alam is a person of color and not a Christian. He is gone as well. We will not see a person of color or a non-Christian in the executive board anytime soon.
In any case, LGBT members never make it to important positions within SAP so we won’t see them in the executive board either.
They needed Gina only to bring performance management and destroy most of the employee benefits. And they needed Alam to initiate multiple reorganizations after Juergen Müller was given the boot.
What changes do you think will happen in teams now? Will they only consider white Christian males for leadership roles from now on? And what about LGBT employees? Is SAP starting a program to remove all migrant employees in Germany? The demands from the US administration are pretty straightforward and the SAP board has done nothing but comply.
CCO Kristina Schake Leaving Disney
The executive joined The Walt Disney Company in June 2022, and her departure anticipates a C-suite shakeup when Josh D’Amaro becomes CEO next month.

Where is your groups exec team traveling to this week?
Some exotic location, while other resources get cut!
Better find someone quick....
Seems that the only thing that might save the stock going to $60 would be a CEO announcement, on the other hand, that might just send the stock to $50. Especially if someone internal gets promoted, cause these execs here are WORTHLESS.
What does the team team team think? Team? AAR that please. LOL.
Let's just bring in another 50 ex-Cisco sellers and a few more CAPidiots. Cause we have made a strategic investment to pump you up.
PHCO - Vee?
No departure date in the org email and all of a sudden she is gone....canned? What other execs are next?

Stock @ 120 today - how soon do the next layoffs start?
Once again the stock has fallen off the map, it was a t a yearly low of $119 earlier today and is not moving out of 120 range - so what next for layoffs? The market is down in general but it's hurting us more than others due to our do-nothing executive weather team. How long before they do the next round???
Another new Optum CA Prez?
Isn't this the 3rd new Optum CA president in less than a year??? Or am I getting confused?
Humana Digital
How did people get exec roles in Humana Digital yet have no leadership, experience, accountability or vision/plan to deliver Humana Digital products or create a solid organization to deliver / support? They must have been great talkers during interviews - but the Board and C-Suite need to bring in leaders for Digital! Who is in place there now are awful - what were you thinking??
Steve, you should know better!

Kroger Names Former Walmart Executive Greg Foran as CEO
Kroger, the largest traditional supermarket chain in the United States, has appointed Greg Foran as its new Chief Executive Officer following a year-long search. Foran is best known for running Walmart’s U.S. operations from 2014 to 2019, where he oversaw a turnaround that delivered 20 consecutive quarters of comparable sales growth across more than 4,600 stores. His appointment signals that Kroger is looking to borrow from its biggest rival’s playbook as the grocery wars intensify.

All hands meeting
Funny how a DEI question was asked about female execs and all the male execs on the stage struggled to answer 😄
February missing a little H(e)art?
Took a long long while for DH the sleazy breezy Chief People Officer to be quietly turned out to pasture… He must have had a really ironclad type of contract to avoid being sacked for decades of behavior complaints… or he knew some excellent intel on the ELT as protection.
So.. good luck new lady. The bar was low so you can just not be a creep and you’re already doing better than the last guy
After Executives Leave, Directors Are Next
When senior executives leave, the change rarely stops there.
Leadership shifts reset strategy, trust, and expectations. That reset naturally moves to the director level.
Directors are visible. They execute strategy and often carry the imprint of the leadership that promoted them. In transitions, that association matters.
The signs are familiar. New operating rhythms. More focus on accountability. Questions about why work exists, not just how fast it moves.
This does not always lead to exits. Sometimes it shows up as stalled growth, role changes, or sudden performance narratives.
What many miss is that this is not about personalities or praise. It is about how large organizations actually operate. Leadership change is a business process, not a sentiment exercise. It also exposes a harder truth. Many people in senior roles never fully understood the business to begin with.
Titles offer little protection in these moments. Alignment does.
Executive exits make the headlines.
The real change happens one level down.
Curious case of Chief AI officer
Verizon hired a chief AI officer some time back named “Mano”. He is no longer with Verizon anymore.. what happened? Anyone in his department knows?

Performance reviews done by direct manager but pending review by executives?
CA should watch this in a loop
Our entire executive team should be forced to watch this in a loop for 24h straight. This video should be broadcasted all over the TVs in every qcom office.

Bankruptcy inevitable
We have had too many years to fix the company but nothing has changed only more bad decisions by management and quality/recall issues by engineers. I feel like we are going to be the next sears. I wonder which company will buy the new corporate buildings in Dearborn few years from now. Very sad story indeed. Thanks Farley and the rest of the executive leadership team for this…
VP, RVP, Executive Leaership
Does anyone know what these people actually do? They ask the people underneath them what they’re doing every week and they report it up the chain – but I have no idea what their actual job is other than passing information like a bad game of telephone. And they all backstab and talk about each other. We are talking about 50 to 60-year-old men and women who do nothing but spread gossip and back step. It’s the weirdest situation in any corporation I’ve ever been in.
