300 layoffs. Not everybody at the same time. People that has been with the company for more than 10 years were let go just a few days before Open Enrollment. When staff in key positions are let go, it usually signals something beyond “normal turnover.” It could affect severance, morale, and how the remaining team should respond. HCSC is a disaster, and they are using the washington argument to do that. It is a lie! No communication at all.
@a7+1k60xsqgh said it perfectly.
Layoffs linked to financial pressures and restructuring for efficiency and stability
First Round of Layoffs (June 2025):
Second Round of Layoffs (September 2025):
Reasons for Layoffs:
Looks like many folks leaving the campus
This is how I will get through staring at their empty desks.
Anyone have news to share about the like-li-hood of layoff after G2E finishing?
Please share any news. Thank you.

Soooo there has obviously been a huge amount of layoffs happening.
Please— if you have gotten laid off today or if anyone knows of anyone that got laid off can you reply the department name?
Also— does anyone know of how many people they are laying off and/or if they are going to be doing this the next couple of days?
Praying we are all safe.
~350 total between F1 and F8 (2.7% of total headcount) will likely go by end of year.
Get your backup plans in order, it’s just business.
FYI: was told we were all safe and bonuses might be impacted, but today was let go. Know of at least 10 others, all from COO's part of the organization.

I'm eng4 level management, what does the severance package look like? I'll be exiting in 8 months at any rate, but I cannot find any detail on Comcast severance. Yes, I will be leaving voluntarily, but I would prefer a layoff.
Any news on next layoff? Is it every month or every quarter?
Per policy I submitted my vacation hours prior to starting vacation and also to ensure I wouldn’t have a missing time card (and not get paid).
We couldn’t work from Sep 2 to Sep 22 due to loss of access. But they sure as heck still docked my vacation accrual for the days I pre-entered for post layoff days Arghh.
Kicking myself in the butt.
Is that even possible? These are the numbers sent from their communications, sound like support will be gone from Oracle soon. This is such a high number.
From a company that care so much of their customers lol
Worst day in the history of this company, most of the people were laid off - global functions, AMER region.
Half of the people who got the letters have time only till Jan 23, then they will be laid off.
For rest handful of people, package is same, rest benefits go down, specially the bonus was reduced to less the 50% of the current one.
Curious case, a web marketing leader with 13 years was laid off, in comparison to a leader who just joined the company in July.
So much politics, so much biasness.
For Group 2 and Group 3 - leave while you can, only those will survive who are good at licking.
RR sold this company, sold the lives of thousands of people, shame on him.
worst CEO in the history of this industry.
From my manager's manager. Looks like its the end of the road for me at Juniper. Marketing group.
Those who were laid of at the start of the month stop coming in tomorrow, right? I don't understand why you'd force people to stay after they've been laid off (I know I wouldn't be productive for sure) but maybe that wisdom will come with age, who know. In any case, good luck folks.
When you are fired or layedoff , TCS will ONLY pay out the vacation days and only because it is required by law in states. Many states have varying laws covering sick days payout, but for the most part you will NOT be payed sick days accumulated.
So, given holidays are near, put in for sick days by saying it is for routine physicals, or planned outpatient procedures and take all your sick days.
You will NOT be payed out any outstanding sick days and are giving TCS a financial gift when they are not payed out.
You have been told, god bless all those that will be affected this massive layoff due to the Trump H1-B $100K per APPLICATION fee..
The recent increase in the H-1B visa fee to $100,000 significantly impacts companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), which heavily rely on exploitation of Indian workers using this visa program to employ serf workers in the U.S.
Financial Implications for TCS
ASPECT DETAILS
Current H-1B Visa Fee Approximately $1,500
New H-1B Visa Fee $100,000 per application
Estimated Cost Increase From about $13.4 million to $1.34 billion annually for Indian IT firms
Dependency on H-1B Visas TCS will reduce the USA workforce by 5,000 - 10,000 workers with no severance to ensure profits and senior management bonuses are met for the Sahibs and Zamindars to ensure their loyalty.
US citizens will be prioritized to be fired first during the first round of firings.
So much for loyalty
Trump has finally signed the new H1-B fee of $100K per APPLICATION fee will spell the end of TCS. The fee will cost TCS about $1.65 Billion over three years. Analysts expect TCS to eliminate at least 5,000 US based employees to compensate for these higher fees and losses. Expect TCS to become very aggressive in laying off US based employees and provide no severance.
It’s time to jump ship before it’s too late. The ship is already taking on lots of water.

Anyone else heading of layoffs in the US soon?
Eastman continues to layoff tenured employees, keeping less experienced (certainly less paid) employees… regardless of merit. It’s shameful.
Sep18 6am UTC - Sep19 6am UTC totals: 78 layoffs, 57 additions.
September totals (except Sep01): 5024 layoffs, and 625 additions.
Methodology and day-by-day breakdown is in comments.
Stop at 75K or further reduction?
Blood bath
For those in US impacted by layoff and utilizing LHH Outplacement services, how is the service? Any good?
Heard there were some layoffs today? Does anyone know how many or which teams got affected?
I'm fairly new to the company and haven't been impacted yet. Will there be more layoffs in the future for the US like in 2026, I'm asking because I have an opportunity elsewhere, and I work in support.
What fields are kicking butt and what fields are getting ready to be sold off? How’s the real layoff going?
Any Houston layoffs 2025?
Exactly one year ago today, I, along with many others was informed about our LRs. It was a surreal and chaotic day. People were pulled into abrupt call with leadership, only to hear a cold, unapologetic monologue. No closure. No empathy. Just a hard stop.
That moment marked the beginning of one of the most challenging phases of my life. Self-doubt crept in, overshadowing every achievement I had worked so hard for. It felt like the ground had shifted beneath me.
But here’s the truth, it wasn’t the end. With God's grace, relentless effort, and the support of those who stood by me, I can proudly say I’m in a much better place today personally and professionally.
To anyone who’s recently been LR’ed, this is not the end of your story. It’s a painful chapter, yes, but also a powerful turning point. Believe that better things await, as long as you're willing to explore, learn, and grow.
Keep exploring. Keep believing. Never give up.
Cheers to resilience, reinvention, and rising stronger.
I'm an ex 19 yr employee that had great reviews and more than exceeded our expectations of profits for years. I got laid off first round but had that icky feeling. Thinking the company I've been loyal to for so many years would do the right thing. It's all politics and bringing in 22 yr olds right out of college that have never been in a refinery, to replace you're 22-24 psg. Chevron will suffer from these horrible decisions! There is no loyalty or morals! When I received layoff in round one, almost everyone in the notice was 45 something and up. Get out on your own terms! I regret not being able to say I retired. On a brighter note, almost a yr pay has me enjoying my family and waiting until next year to even care about looking for a job! I wish you all well and sorry you are going through this!
What happens if you go into the office, your manager works in a different office and you are laid off? Do they send guards up to you to escort you out?
Who got the golden ticket?
Folks, if you are so worried about being terminated, then you already know the answer - you are a goner. Those that are confident in the real value they bring to COP will survive.
I hate that we have to have this mind set, but its a new month so im wondering if layoffs are coming around again. With the amount of issues with clients and clinicians due to all of the changes and clinicians choosing to leave due to it all, I can only imagine how much was lost money wise so worried about if/who will be cut next.
Sep13 6am UTC - Sep15 6am UTC totals: 7 layoffs.
September totals (except Sep01): 4704 layoffs, and 279 additions.

This is a baseline for a new week.
