Is 3/19 still the next big round? Any insights on which parts of Optum? Specifically anywhere is Optum Health/Care?

How layoffs will likely unfold
There will ALWAYS be layoffs. It is the Verizon way. It's also the Verizon way to pretend they don't happen, and do them under the table. The big one on 11/20 was too big to ignore, and got national media coverage. But going forward, I suspect the layoffs will be more "traditional", where specific groups or programs are targeted to be shutdown, as opposed to another "20% across the board" type of action. The Frontier integration will no doubt result in "redundancies" being identified. Other areas that have been mentioned are parts of Enterprise, specifically overseas, so I'd expect some cuts there as well.
Bumping this up for visibility, from @ad+1kk9jn5e2

Is it March 10th?
The ever moving second Tuesday of the month timeline to get rid of associates?
Back in 2024, we survived the axe which happened on second Tuesday of March.
Water cooler chat is also buzzing with Friday the 13th March horror.
As always brokerage and wealth seem to be the ones impacted most.
So who's being laid off?
What groups are up now? Seems they went easy this year with layoffs so far but, I'm guessing the axe will fall when maverick rolls out - and fails.
Wellsfargo stock target price
$60 by end of March.
And followed by another mega layoffs.
Big layoffs coming next week
Stay tuned
Layoffs Next Month
Everyone get ready, it's supposed to be a big one, I heard it from my LL6 who's husband works in Finance.
I keep hearing bits and pieces about possible additional cuts
Does anyone know if more layoffs are actually being planned, or is this just rumor mill stuff again?
Has anyone heard anything concrete about another round of layoffs?
It feels like we are all just waiting for the next announcement, and the silence is not exactly reassuring.
Why is everyone convinced layoffs will continue tomorrow?
What did I miss?
All Hands?
I heard this was a sign for layoffs. I see a light at the end of the tunnel. I hope it's me this time
layoff in progress?
hearing there are layoffs today. anybody confirm?
Next layoff date?
Anyone have any info?
Are we certain more layoffs are coming next Thursday?
If they haven’t hit the announced 2,000 by the end of February yet, it seems pretty likely. Does anyone have a sense of the numbers so far?
February 26
IT got hit hard and I hear comments that it will get hit again next week. How fr can it get cut?
Are they targeting Managers & Senior Managers in next wave?
Are they targeting Managers & Senior Managers in next wave?
Even though they said no layoffs, Do uou think they are trying to get Managers & Senior Managers to quit?
Any more layoffs today?
Someone mentioned in a post below that they were expected to continue though tomorrow. How is everyone holding up?
Additional 2026 Layoff Dates
Can anyone confirm if the following dates are planned surplus announcement dates?
4/22/26
6/19/26
8/19/26
10/2/26
11/4/26
I just saw something that makes me pretty sure these are planned surplus announcement dates.
Huge layoffs soon
Huge layoffs is being planned, but not sure about the date, Believe within two months for sure.
Stock @ 120 today - how soon do the next layoffs start?
Once again the stock has fallen off the map, it was a t a yearly low of $119 earlier today and is not moving out of 120 range - so what next for layoffs? The market is down in general but it's hurting us more than others due to our do-nothing executive weather team. How long before they do the next round???
Are cuts going to continue?
Some say it's all done, but I have my doubts.
More layoffs before the end of the quarter?
I'm thinking it's a certainty by now, but if I'm wrong, please let me know.
How bad might next week turn out to be?
I'm already so tired of this job, and even more exhausted by these seemingly endless layoffs.
Big layoffs March 3
End of the world layoffs…..
Feb. 27th
Feb. 27th is the end of the pay period that would allow Verizon time to get the next wave off the books by end of March. How big do you think the RIF will be?
When is the layoffs date?
Anyone hear any exact date/week yet?
Huge chance of a layoff on/before 2/24
Can anyone confirm this rumor?
There is now a PTG all-hands meeting sent out today for 8:35AM EST on 2/24.
I have a bad gut feeling about this. Too many layoff announcement red flags (meeting time, date).
shoe falls next wk
kev!n has a leadership call sched early next wk
shoe dropping b4 that call bcoz he announce go forward path on that call to his managers only not all ppl invited only mgrs
get ready
So 2/12 and 2/26 are supposed to be massive layoffs?
Is that what we're looking at? Media reports mention 2,000 total. We all know they lay off on non-pay weeks. Apparently, it should all be wrapped up by the end of February. If it's true, tomorrow is going to get really bad. Oh well. Not like I expected anything better.
