T-Mobile will hire from India after layoffs in the US
https://share.google/LaNSdgZJxVmNlINzW
Is there anything less American than this? F this company... How is this even legal?
Abdelsadek only hires corporate stooges
If you put on your blinder and look down and support the company like they’re your own flesh and blood, you’ll do well. But at what cost?
Idk
Humana gives the bare ** minimum
Ford reported sales are down by double digits
Ford just reported sales and it's down big time, even with Ford employees discount for all. People are finally realizing that Ford vehicles are junk. Other automotive companies sales are up. GM and Stellantis did not report.
hahaha we are rationing tokens
Every team is now building their own AI Agents. it's chaos.
The pencil pushers have recently discovered that tokens cost money. Now they are getting rationed. We are only halfway through the year too. lmao. productivity!!!
Pace Gallery Reduces Artists and Staff
Pace Gallery recently cut 50 artists and laid off 50 staff members. This represents a 30% reduction in artists and 20% in employees. CEO Marc Glimcher described the move as a "model correction." He stated the current gallery model is "unfixable" and needs change. The gallery will now focus on representing approximately 80 artists.

AI first until it costs too much money
We are told we are an AI first company.
Now we are being told not to use it too much as it's costing too much money!
The Saying is sure true, EVERYONE is replaceable in Corporates
Who is next to get ousted?
‘Cruel and Needless Layoffs’
The head of the Writers Guild of America East union blasted Paramount-owned CBS News for recent “cruel and needless layoffs,” its firing of “60 Minutes” correspondent Scott Pelley and the shutdown of CBS News Radio.

Stop fake laughing with and complimenting ghouls like Beth O'Callahan. You won't be spared
What the he-l is wrong with you kiss-a-s corporate boot-lickers?
Beth doesn't support families, women, disabled people, and those with extenuating circumstances with the RTO requirements that make FTO impossible. And to add insult to injury, the recent layoffs despite record stock prices and revenue...
Have some god-damn self respect for yourselves.
Sales Town Hall
Thoughts on that Town Hall?
Any cuts happened yet?

USA Stock Market Growth /Quality
The Stock Market exploding. high quality/Growth/ visionary CEOs driving success.
Verizon BOD hires more Europeans to run a USA centric business. At some point failed leadership, expense reduction strategies will require change.
One thing for certain... current Vz Executives all waiting to get a buyout offer under guise of " seeking new opportunities " mantra.
Aetna Town Hall
So glad Aetna is doing so well...how about sharing that financial success with the rest of us for once!
Any news on changes to severance?
I've heard through the grapevine that there are upcoming changes to severance and it's not good. Nobody I've talked to has any more details than that. Has anyone heard anything?
Fake JDI Day traditions
What’s up with these events today like they have been a long time tradition? What’s the point of hyping these irrelevant events? What the he-l is a swoosh cup? Is there anything more irrelevant than a Nike Mile? Perhaps they trying to cover up the fact how fun JDI days used to be?
Anyone here moved to Dallas this year?
Just wondering if anyone was asked to move this year?
JDI Day = Day Off?
Are people actually going to JDI day or do some people use it as a day off? I really don’t have that much interest in going, and I think my team is kinda doing whatever. Wondering if it’s abnormal to not partake or how people approach JDI day especially considering where the company is at. I’d rather have saved the money of JDI day and split the cost up as a bonus between everyone lol
HMSers
Does anyone know why all of a sudden there is a huge divide between Gainwell and HMS? The messaging at first it was we are one company. These past couple of months it’s been shown we are NOT one and was verbally told to separate from them. You see it in their actions. W are treated like the red headed stepchild! We bring in so much money but we’re treated like we don’t even exist. They never wanted us and that’s okay. Does anyone know if we will be sold soon or the sudden direct change of heart? Is it time to move on?
She gets the last word!!!
Insider recently sold US$3.5m worth of stock
On the 29th of May, Samantha Hammock sold around 73k shares on-market at roughly US$47.83 per share. This transaction amounted to 82% of their direct individual holding at the time of the trade.
Fraud ops
Don't know how many, but it's happening today.
Lay offs this week for wellmed
Are there any layoffs this week for wellmed. We are locked out the computer and cannot get any answers
EXI
Completely off the layoff topic, sort of, but, does anyone know whe the exi results will be in?

John Stankey Open Mic
John is hosting a Dallas ONLY (sorry non HQ people) open mic today. Highest rated question from the chat I will stand up and ask.
Reflections from someone who was LR'd
First, I wasn't surprised by my LR nor am I bitter. We all know Cisco is a cost-manager first and foremost, and there is still so much that can (and will) be cut from Cisco (and every other large tech co).
I actually applied to some internal roles, mostly for yucks. One HR screen for an SRE position but it was clear they really just wanted someone cheap and low-skill. Hard to get excited about anything internal when you know how Cisco is run.
Otherwise it is quite brutal out there. The traditional job search (resume, apply, interview, offer) is completely over-saturated and time-consuming. I don't think Cisco on my resume is seen as good or bad...it is a name people have heard of but doesn't impress like a FAANG. So you can't expect to get a pass based on your experience.
Interview prep and tech screens are much more absurdly difficult than anytime I can remember. I feel like I am cramming for the SAT. Problem is, every day I spend prepping is another day lost to other things I could be doing. The opportunity cost feels high.
On top of all of this, I have noticed an undeniable trend - declining published salaries ranges.
Companies know this is a buyer's market and are flipping the table on candidates.
I feel really bad for candidates who need $$$ to pay bills ASAP. I wonder how many will just drop out of tech.
As for me, I am going to be an entrepreneur out of necessity. I feel like I am in a su---r's game and I am just wasting week after week chasing what shouldn't be an impossible dream - a moderately decent job in my field - but it is what it is.
Stock going into the 30s - FT drop
I think once everyone learns that FT, who is a large client, is dropping the contract and going with a different company the stock will fall even lower. Well into the 30s. How can you have confidence in the company if they constantly get dropped by clients?
So when does it start in earnest, if it's to be completed by June 15?
Also, the sooner the better. Still some chance at severance, at least. I can't wait to have this forsaken place in the rearview mirror.
MedSol S&P article
wow .. this is pretty insane!

Customer Champion / Case Mgmt
We are always told that we are the safest, but any chance Case would be impacted with RIFs/Layoff?
No communication since notice
Since I was notified that my last day is June 5th, I have not been contacted by anyone. My immediate supervisor has not been contacted by anyone. He has never been told by anyone that I have been laid off. I find this to be absolutely ludicrous and completely ridiculous, but I have not heard from anyone regarding any closing process. Is there any kind of interview? Exit interview or anything? Is this normal for me not to have heard anything?
Stock nosediving once again
The wool is going to come off people’s eyes sooner or later. When it does, the stock will end up much closer to where it belongs, in the single digits.
Loyalty is a one way street here
They always expect us to be loyal, to give our best, to stay for years and build our careers here. But when it comes time to invest in us, we're just an expense to be minimized. Experienced people get cut or have their raises capped so the company can save a few dollars.
We would have benefited from staying in our lane
T is like an enormous dinosaur lumbering through the telecom space. Had we cared for the aging dinosaur by making sure our fiber footprint and customer service were robust, we could have survived the times we are in now.
Instead we tried to weave ourselves into sectors we had no business in and come up with gimmicky BS to seem cutting edge.
Putting funding and focus into those pursuits made us quietly fall behind. Now we’re like a cringey guy in the throes of a midlife crisis trying to date 20 year olds and who have zero interest while neglecting his family that is rapidly falling apart.
Nothing is working and the company looks stupid as he-l flopping around trying to ensure everyone that things are going great and AT&T is cool.
Thank you being the best part of Verizon
If it’s any consolation, “thank you for being the best part of Verizon” was carelessly worn out like “love you’s” to your ex-wife. They got us all with it. They made corporate love to us (because it wasn’t consensual) while they took our innocence, money, and more importantly time. And you sold your dignity for a small check and what amounted to a pizza party. Hey we all get used from time to time. But this time, you got a skill out of it not just he---s.
