…about JDI day. How do they expect us to celebrate when there is nothing worth celebrating over? Especially right after more layoffs.
Nothng destroys credibility faster than eliminating a role and then reposting it a few months later. With this being said, I am actually glad they cut me as I'd have difficult time staying here

I have been informed that my termination will take effect after my return from FMLA/medical leave. After 12 years of working with the company, this is the outcome. honestly, just feel relieved at this point.

I'm actually grateful for that.
heard no rumours yet. still, all the public announcements made on the investor day last month seem pointing to layoffs for HQ thanks to f@#king AI. Need to lawyer up now?
After your termination date any remaining stock is accelerated for you to cash out. But you do have to wait 60 days before it is available to trade. With the direction the price is going, it’s not going to be worth much.
A small round of around 10 employees. Could be more soon.
1) Rumors site starts getting more and more input/traction.
2) Big news media start noting potential layoffs possibly leaked by Dan and or his communications team. This lessens the blow when they actually happen internally and also starts painting a picture to the market. (Dan just noted AI will result in 20-30% unemployment for companies
3) Teams notified to work from home a week prior to the layoffs.
4) During a payroll week, Mon/Tues for Senior Directors and Thursday for the rest. The expectation amongst many well connected is Thursday, May 7th. VPs and higher are probably Earnings week w NDA. Probably will be same 15 min script for those impacted starting around 9am. And then all hands for folks remaining around 11am.
What else trends are anticipated here?

Is that the new strategy?
That's all I wanted to say.

Is it true we're the next tech company to have major layoffs? I've heard too many rumors to just ignore it.
We lost too many folks lately to quitting. Why are you doing this horrible leadership favors? They're overjoyed whenever anybody leaves because that means they save money on severance. Just wait it out. At this point, it's a matter of time before most of us are laid off. Which means that you're losing out on severance by walking away.

Rumors are floating around that more layoffs will be at HQ. Especially in Data, Strategy, PMO and Engineering
Not layoff related, but what’s the deal with this Program?
Some people on my team it seems like it’s all they work on, and other people don’t even know what it is. I get pulled in randomly, but other than a few new policies, I’m not sure what or why we are doing this, especially with the big ROE push?
