Rumor that band 5 and up is this week?

I’m hearing rumors that band 5 and above is getting notices this week or accepting a special package. Can any Sr Directors or above confirm this?

Band 6 and below will be the 11/20 group. Im hearing those names are being compiled by band 5 and above now, but I’d like to hear confirmation from the band 5s?

Someone somewhere must have credible information by now. Please let us know!


I think my time here is up

My workload’s dropped off a cliff over the last few months, and while I can’t say for certain, it really feels like my manager’s been avoiding me. I’m almost sure my name’s on the list. Weirdly enough, that realization’s made things easier to handle. Now that I know what’s probably coming, I feel calmer and I’ve already started looking for my next move.


SMB B2B Account Managers On the Chopping block?

Hearing a lot of rumors and basically no department is safe, no position is safe. November 20 is the date I’m seeing and hearing, But I am hearing more than anything that SMB is really on the chopping block. What do we think is going to happen to SMB and B2B? Restructure or just completely cut the channels out and have store reps and managers take care of business?

Seems as though we’ve lost all our people in the know on this board??

Wondering if the lack of info being shared on teams at risk and future of more waves is because there’s nothing to share, they’ve been warned about leaks and gone silent or are more and more people (including our informants) getting dead tired of any of this talk and don’t care anymore or have left themselves.

Lots of job postings, not India, what’s that about, fake? Hiring back same roles for less?


Execs say they didn’t know names, but they did

Someone in my dept had a planned retirement date in September that for some unknown reason was extended. We even had a retirement party for them two weeks ago.

Then on layoff day, we received a farewell email from them and they began their email with how they were “one of the ones impacted”

I don’t believe for a second that our VP didn’t know. I think they had them extend their retirement so as to have them counted in layoff and therefore save a headcount vs. lose one more additional person.

In one sense I appreciate that but in another, it means they knew names and they knew this was coming for much longer than they let on.


Doesn’t UHG typically follow Optum with layoffs?

It seems that, in the past, either UHC or Optum has a big RIF and then the other company follows 2 weeks later. The Optum RIF yesterday was pretty significant so wondering why I’m not hearing anything about UHC (thankfully). But I’m still thinking that this is the trend and wondering what comes (if anything) in 2 weeks. Seems all is quiet. Too quiet…

where’s the genius posting weekly that AML is about to have layoffs - after AGAIN - for the 12 time in a row - not having layoffs. “Mr. Shut Up” should be the only reply to that person who keeps posting their propaganda. Additionally, this is the 8th layoff I’ve posted on here - accurately.

Once again, like in a couple years ago, I heard serious comments about a new round approaching and it is very nicely scheduled for December, so you know, you can start exploring your career goals.. well well let's see how this season goes this year, at least we are now purple, bald and very shiny, what a se-y combination

No way that this week’s Q3 results are going to be strong enough to fight the peer pressure and shareholder pressure. Plus, we all know there’s too many people and not enough desks at the new HQ. Time to trim.

so far so good today. but... are we just left for latter and will there be a massive cut within these groups as well? i kind of have a feeling that we have been sloted for a later cut but i am basing this only on my personal gut feeling and i do not have any insder information. i was talking to one director level person and she thinks that we'll be fine but i am unsure if i should trust this. i am not too concerned but given how crazy all of this i'd say anything is possible.

Anyways also heard it’s 20 to 30 percent reduction.
