It's not a secret the OT is bleeding and drying out the divisions and there going to be another major layoff soon.

I'm hearing a lot of rumors about OT going to sell ADM bu heard SAP and others but is there any credibility to those rumors? is anyone going to buy ADM?
I guess the sale will be happening at the end of the faineance year (this June - start of July)

Bloomsbury, a UK-based publisher, announced a restructuring plan. The company intends to streamline its operations for future growth. About 55 positions will be eliminated in the US and UK. Bloomsbury will reorganize its three main editorial divisions. These changes are scheduled to take effect on June 1, 2026.

Wouldn't cutting MW's salary amd other ELT be a great move? Consultants like McKinsey basically run the company so why pay for expensive ELT?

There were more layoffs in the Data and AI org in TPX yesterday. Unsure how many total were laid off but it was more than just the higher ups they said in the email.

BD got another new platform to waste money on. Hope, TGS id--ts will be kept out of it if we are serious about any meaningful value from that investment.

I don’t know why people think results will make a difference. At AT&T, layoffs happen regardless. Good results, mediocre ones, bad ones, it doesn’t matter. They’re just part of how things work here.

It kind of su-ks to watch several Disney presentations and see the company boasting of breaking so many financial records and then turn around to see thousands of your coworkers gone. Knowing it wasn't necessary but simply common greed makes it feel even worse.

Is it true we're the next tech company to have major layoffs? I've heard too many rumors to just ignore it.

I think we've slipped down almost to the bottom of the list, judging by the quality of new hires.

I only worked at DXC a short time, but long enough to see what it's really like. If that place ever had a good reputation in the industry, it's destroyed now. I hate that I have to put its name on my resume. It doesn't help me. In fact, I have a feeling it probably hurts me.

My group is small and kind of isolated from the rest of the company. And nobody here wants to leave. The pay is good, we don't work crazy hours, and leadership keeps telling us we're safe. Whether that's true or not is not certain, but it's enough to make people want to stay.

Anyone has any hints about what this year will bring? Do they plan second round of layoffs after Q1/Q2 results?

Judging by who took on our debt and turned it into equity, I'm hoping the goal here could be to improve results rather than cut costs from the get go. I could be wrong, but we'll see, I guess.

Something tells me something major is coming.
