Get prepared. No matter how long you’ve worked at Cisco or how long you’ve been “friends” with your peers. They will ghost you. Just be prepared so it doesn’t come as a shock. Most of us that were LR’d can attest to the fact that they will go... — read more

I wish we never heard about upcoming LR

Layoffs and T&E budget
Not to be morbid, but salespeople have had essentially ZERO budget to travel to or entertain customers. This is a huge part of the job and we are getting crushed by competition who has better budget to wine and dine customers. Should we assume with... — read more
This LR and Economic Free Fall

Cisco unique to pick Monday for LRs, allowing ample time for mental health and emotional balancing
Giving week off to everyone where the dust settles, and reorg / lining up teams for next LR in February. Focus is on LRs, not productivity and innovation. Those politically minded, excel in these times, leaving talent is dustbins.

I'm not working Friday
Maybe even tomorrow. I'm taking a sick day. I'm useless at work right now anyhow. My anxiety is at an all time high. If they didn't drag this out as much as they did, I probably wouldn't be feeling the way I am right now. As it is, I'm going to give... — read more
